Hello! I'm Ainsley.

I was hoping to ask for some help in some things right now. It would mean a lot to me if I could have a moment of your time.

First thing is that I was wondering if there's anyone who has knowledge re: occult and cults and things like that. It's because I learned that I may have been part of a cult due to the strange titles they were using in a meeting in my memory. It's a long shot but it felt like to me that they were very important so there has to be some evidence of them being here. Right?

Anyways these were what the titles that were being used in my memory. They must have some meaning behind them.

[ she starts to list them off in her post: the moon, the magician, the tower, and so on. for some it'll soon become obvious that she's listing off titles that belong to the major arcana of tarot cards. really. ]

The second thing is that I need help in translating letters I got last month. Strange, I know, but this is not as threatening compared to the last thing they gave me so I suppose that's a step up.

A lot of them are in languages I don't know all that well. Like Japanese and French and the like. If anyone can help me out with this, I would be very grateful and be willing to pay you for your time in this. I should warn you though that a lot of the text seems to be missing from the letters so I'm sorry if it doesn't make sense.

Just to warn you though- Some of the content of the letters is missing from what I can tell. There are a lot of blank spaces in the correspondence. Words and sentences are missing from the paragraphs that are there altogether. So I'm sorry in advance for any confusion.

Missing how? Damage, or some kind of weird code or whatever?

It's missing a lot of text. As in blocks of it and the paragraphs that are there aren't. In some instances, words literally trail off into empty space. It's very strange.

Hang on- Let me show you an example after it stops showing me new words.

in any case- she sends the promised photo. like she had said earlier the letter is missing a lot of text. mostly empty besides a block of text here or there, it's easy to see there were gaps or empty spaces within the block itself. words or whole sentences outright gone. ]

This is a pain but doable. I'm beginning to think there's some sort of code. That or Retrospec decided to retract some parts.

Just give me all of them, and I'll work on translating them.

[She's caught up on her homework and she was going to stream tonight, but she can just postpone that. Plus it'll be good to get someone owing her a favor.]

Of course. Please- Give me a minute! There's quite a lot of them.

[ she wasn't joking. it takes over twenty minutes to send all the letters that were written in french. after they've been translated, she'll find the following:

the letters in this language comes from a woman's handwriting and only hers, oddly enough. but she seems to be replying to someone due to the passages that were there. ('what you said in your last letter' and so on.')

her letters are usually friendly though much of the text is missing. it mostly consist of her talking about other people - martus, aegis garder - and it's clear she considers aegis her friend. oddly enough she starts talking about things like 'the magician' or 'the tower' and all the other titles of the major arcana but with so much of the text missing, it's hard to tell what context they're supposed to be in. except when she speaks of the star. passages of her exist and they consist of caelum stating how proud she is of her and how much she cares for her. she has her worries about her daughter's soft-hearted nature but that's why, as her parents, they need to look out for her. ]

It's a total mess, so I'll just summarize. It's all by this one woman replying to someone. Friendly tone. Lots of talk about those people named Martus and Aegis Garder. Pretty sure she was friends with the latter. Then the tarot talk starts, bits about the Major Arcana. There's more about the Star, she talks about being proud of her daughter and loving her but being worried about her having a soft heart. And that as their parents they need to look out for her, so looks like it was written to the other parent.

[ it takes a bit for her to reply as she pours over the message, taking notes and referencing it to her.

so far, her letters mirror what she knows herself besides a surprise she got after asking minako to translate the letters in japanese. nothing new is coming out and after realising words started to appear only when she had a vision… she purses her lips together, reminding herself to try and experiment with this possible angle for later.

for now she types her reply, taking time to first thank her. ]

Are there any other names in the letters besides the ones you mentioned? Like the Star's name? Or the full name of this Martus?
