no more school, no more books, no more bodies hung on hooks

you know, in times like these I think it is important to look on the bright side
so everyone, please take a moment today to appreciate the little things in life
such as the songs of birds or the music of the ice cream truck
or the fragile warmth and unconditional love of a baby puppy

... or of course the fact that there is *~*~ just one more week till SUMMER VACATION!! ~*~*
who's excited? raise your hand! o/
or don't, since school's about to be out haha

Mmmm, school was always different for me until I came here. I was not used to summer vacation much, being home schooled. It's a bit of a novel thing, though I don't get to enjoy it as much now. Work is work, after all, is it not?

That was the last part, and I did, or more accurately High School. I sometimes forget to use the American term. I came here on an exchange program, but I was home schooled until then and worked at my mother's vineyard.

And... before I forget, it's Lycee. Not a delicious little fruit that does not smile at you.

Several times, though mostly for festivals. We usually used a more or less modern press.

It's a red, sweet fruit that grows in china. If you ever go to an import store, they sell lychee sodas. They're light and sweet. I rather like them, though it's expensive to get here.

Close enough, I guess.

Mostly work. I have some scenes people need me for.

Yes.
Why wouldn't I get paid?

No, you need to get paid for your work.
Even advertisements need to pay the actors and other workers.
If they're not paying it's not worth it.

They're tv shows and ads.
I'm probably in the background of stuff more often than I get speaking lines.
gnasher: (on your mark get set.)

what about a watermelon the size of a meatball, then?

gnasher: (the waterline begins to rise.)

don't lose sight of the objective. smash it!

as for giant serving sizes, i'm a swimmer. we burn a lot of calories a day. like, a lot a lot a lot. a baby's head worth of meatballs isn't even close to enough.
