RIP Izunia-san's Loyal Scarf.

Sacrificed itself in a blaze of glory to save its master.

A hero's funeral will take place tonight at 7PM at Ardyn Izunia's house. Please RVSP if you would like to attend. Dress code requirements: one loyal scarf.

I fail to see your point.

It is a scarf. If I lose something I am attached to, of course I would be upset. But to the point of burning it and holding a funeral for an object seems excessive.

Are you telling me that you don't own a single object that possesses such sentimental value? Something that only the most somber funeral would provide closure for?

I have many things I would be sad if I lost. But nothing I would set on fire and make a funeral for.

Now, then, I must make a correction to that: we only decided on the funeral /after/ it was set on fire.

An accident. I would say that you should blame my nephew for it, but I'll not be so cruel as to use such a word.

When you put it like that, it makes me sound like a devious sort of person. What I told you is the truth. It was an accident. If you want the details, you'd have to ask Souji; it's not my place to say otherwise.
