[ Yin pulls her mechanical thumb back until she physically can't anymore, then pushes it against her thigh. ] Like, I can tell this is as far as my finger bends. And there's... pressure.

[ she tries to bend the knuckle into an uncomfortable position but it stubbornly resists. ] No pain. Good.

I dunno. Pain's usually a sign you're doin' somethin stupid, and if there's no sign of that...

Then again, this thing is pretty hardy. Wanna put it up to a stress test?

Why d'you think I asked about the crowbar? [ now she's grinning. ]

You could just try to arm-wrassle me, too.

...nah. Even if this shit is unobtanium or whatever, you can still dislocate my shoulder without trying. Like. If you don't rip my stump out of the socket first.

[ meanwhile, Yin continues to play around with the new appendage. opening and closing her fingers, raising and lowering and twisting things around to test the elbow's flexibility and response. ]

You know, I was thinking this could have had something to do with the hallucinations but... I've got both my arms in all those. And shotgun fists on my hands. [ she holds the palm near her face. ] I can't see where this thing would shoot from so that's not it.

...what, I didn't tell you about beating up those gangster thugs in the club? [ she is pretty sure everyone's heard the story by now. ]

Well... it's like I said, these guys were fucking with me in a club so I showed 'em the floor. They were all dressed up the same. Black suits, white shirts, red ties and cheap sunglasses. When I punched one, it'd like blast 'em but. No blood. [ shrug. ] Don't ask me how I didn't paint the whole place red, but I'm pretty sure I set something on fire.

Aw shit, fam, you sound like a John Woo badass! Also, catch! -May found the crooked crowbar, lightly tossing it towards Yin's lap. Probably not the smartest idea...-

[ there's no time to make a comment, as she's too busy catching the tool in both her hands.

This feels way too easy. Natural. [ Yin gripped the two ends of the crowbar and started to push the bowed section against the top of her thigh. she strained and strained, and though it didn't budge an inch, neither did her new arm. ] Shit, that's — ugh — tougher than it looks!

I wonder what its grip strength is? Just grab the end of the bar and try to pinch it.

[ for a second it feels like she's about to make progress but then, with a grunt, Yin stopped. ] The ... ? Oh. Hang on.

[ she clamped her fingers down near the flat tip and flicked the bar back and forth a bit. ] Seems solid. [ then she made swinging motions. ] Really so — [ all is fine and dandy until it slips out of her grasp and bounces off of the table and off into the wall. ] FUCK!

[ that's what happens when you try to grab smooth metal with smooth metal. ] Sorry, May. That's uh... probably gonna leave a ding.

Eh, this thing's got a lot of those already, what's one more?

But damn... that thing really is amazing... What should we test next?

Looks like I'll need a glove for it, or something.

[ Yin scratches her chin with her left hand's fingers. ] Got any empty cans?

Just stuff I've already crushed. Though I could empty one real quick. -May winks, motioning towards the beer fridge.-

Knock yourself out. I'll stay dry because there's no telling what the hell booze will do with advanced future motor controls or however the hell this thing connects to my brain.

Aye aye! -May happily opened the fridge and pulled out a tall can, smashing a finger through the top and shotgunning the rest in what seemed like a single gulp.-

...one of these days, you're gonna cut your damn finger off. [ and Yin will be there to laugh at it while dialing 911.

she holds her hand out, ready to crush that can effortlessly once she's done so. the strength to do it isn't hers in the slightest, but the arm relays the command without any hesitation. ]

[ she drops the lump of metal to the floor. ] What'cha got?
