Ali Sobeck shared a photo.
7 June near Union Grocery.

hey, it's alison. long time reader, first time poster, etc.
everyone else gets pointy teeth and anime hair, and all i get is this rudimentary bow and arrow set. in the back seat of my car. i feel cheated and uneasy.
things of note:
the construction's solid if old-fashioned. ancient almost. looks like it's been through a lot of hunting or combat. well-cared for. it's been restringed recently. funny: the bowstring's stronger than any modern-day bow i've ever held. tbf, last time i tried to shoot a bow and arrow was in summer camp, and that was a disaster. i couldn't hit the broad side of a barn...
the metal pieces are strong too.
same metal pieces have been shaped for the arrow heads. dried blood still on one of those. spooky. weird thing about the design. the metal's been shaped and painted(?) in a way to resemble animal bone. does that make sense? as if it was deliberate. they don't match with the construction of the thing, but i don't know why.
just a feeling.
has anyone ever seen these symbols? did anyone else get some ancient weapon, or did i luck out?

It being a weapon that's been around for millennia doesn't make it "ancient."
From that picture and your description, that seems like a very modern construction.
Perhaps some kind of hobbyist bow?

Mismatched in what way? It's hard to get a sense of the composition from over Retrospec, if I'm being honest.

I see what you mean, now.
Hm.
Some sort of retrofuture post-apocalyptic costume prop?

No, not at all.
Er, though I suppose that is a logical conclusion if it's some kind of costume.
If these items truly are ours from some sort of alternate life.

Have you had any visions? The so-called "hallucinomemories"?

I have. I have my theories about it.
Would you rather have had a past life in a some sort of post-apocalyptic scavenger society?
I suppose once you start having visions it'll be clear one way or the other.

This is a simulation. We're "remembering" our lives as real people.
It's a far-fetched theory, yet it would explain all of the oddities we've been experiencing.

I suppose it would be. My hypothetical past existence isn't nearly as exciting.
