[text] there's so many generic pop punk angst lyrics i could use for this tbh

I'm taking a poll here, because I have no idea what to make of all these hallucinomemories.

Is anyone else remembering stuff from actual history? As in, straight out of the textbooks. I wasn't sure of it until I got my history final back, but there's a few questions on there that I didn't know the answer to and had to guess on, based on what I remembered. And I got them all right.

And if anyone else is remembering real history: are all of your hallucinomemories real? Because I'm pretty sure mine are a mix of real history and a bunch of crap they threw in just to mess with me.

I am remembering history, yes, but it isn't a real history. I've been searching for Ulgia on every map of Europe I can find, and it simply doesn't exist.

I do not know that any of them are real, but some are closer to our world than others. Whatever would 'mess with us' better.
originallutece: don't tell anyone but i'm kinda into this whole cyndi lauper business (talk; shit that's mildly catchy)

I think it would be a mistake to treat any of our hallucinomemories as false, no matter how outlandish. Simply because something appears impossible doesn't mean it's so.

Why, what precisely are you recalling?

I could tell you when the country sprang up, the current leadership and about the recent coup attempt. But you would not find it in an actual history book, because it does not actually exist.

It is that fine line between hallucination and reality.

It's not what most people would consider history, but I remember being in an airport that I can only describe as Very Eighties.

But other than that, there's not reason that I'm remember actual history, unless we all had superpowers in the past.
originallutece: no, please, touch the boiling beaker, it'll be fine (talk; doing science work)

I didn't say tell your teacher; that would be a stupid idea.

But what precisely defined them as "vampires"?
originallutece: my first and only love (talk; mmm science)

[BUDDY . . .]

All right. Do you remember fighting them? Or simply witnessing them?

At my age, it doesn't feel like it. [Mohammed you are 25] It wasn't anything special. I was traveling to Japan with an old man, and that was it.

Actually, I think I recognized that old man.

A page from one. It wasn't a very big country. Along the Mediterranean. I would say somewhere basically in the Yugoslavia region, if you're familiar, not far from Croatia or Slovenia. Just one of the many broken up republics in the area.

I'm not certain if they are real or not, but one that I had was of studying under one of the people who were part of making Mount Rushmore and considering him my Master, and another one involved the early days of the Seitosha, which was a prominent feminist collective in Japan that was in involved in the women's liberation movement and was founded 1911.

But on the other hand, there are others that make no sense in historical context.

i'm not remembering any history-- if anything, i'm remembering stuff that seems like it's from the comics.

it also feels a little weird pointing this out... but for like the past month, i forgot that anything weird was happening at all. that in and of itself screams that something is wrong.

I wouldn't call it history even if it felt like I was living in a documentary.

Let's see, riding an elephant, watching people cover up stuff to keep the rains out of it, other men parading about carrying guns. It was like I was in a documentary about an occupied village.
