[text] there's so many generic pop punk angst lyrics i could use for this tbh
I'm taking a poll here, because I have no idea what to make of all these hallucinomemories.
Is anyone else remembering stuff from actual history? As in, straight out of the textbooks. I wasn't sure of it until I got my history final back, but there's a few questions on there that I didn't know the answer to and had to guess on, based on what I remembered. And I got them all right.
And if anyone else is remembering real history: are all of your hallucinomemories real? Because I'm pretty sure mine are a mix of real history and a bunch of crap they threw in just to mess with me.

Which is messed up enough in itself. Like one day we're all going to forget each other and all these hallucinomemories like none of this ever mattered to start with.

You're right, we have nothing in common except we're both getting jerked around by the same assholes. Plenty of relationships are forged through a common struggle, but if you get rid of the struggle, what's there left to forge anything with?
[ James is practicing the ancient art of "the simile" right now.
is it working ]

I'd think that after some point, our friendship has cemented that we don't care how we met, but your point still stands.
Compare now to how we spoke before I found the video.

And what if both of us forgot Retrospec then? Would us talking to each other have ever existed at all?

It's like if after that vision, I would know the name "Joseph Joestar" and the fact we knew each other, but I had never met that person in Recolle.

I'd be guilty of depriving you of a history investigator.

Although you make a good point, Mr. History Investigator. Something tells me I'm going to need to be investigating a lot of history, if these memories keep up.

As far as I know, there's no sign of forgetting any of you just yet. I'm not that old.

...What do you know about Bastogne in Belgium?
no subject
Do you remember experiencing the event?

It's also where we fought a bunch of Nazi vampires.

I fought a sentient puddle, why am I confounded by this?
no subject
I can't tell if that's weirder than Nazi vampires or not.

To be fair, I also have memories of pyrokinesis.

Do you mean you remember throwing fire around yourself, or were you just watching someone else do it?

[He was using fire in a fight against water, but that's dumb and he doesn't want to talk about it.]

Oh, because he's just remembered something brand new again. Okay. ]
Sounds like it might've been part of the pyrokinesis.
Apparently two of the guys on my team in the war could set themselves on fire whenever they wanted and they never got hurt or burned from it.
