What kind of superpowers would you want? You don't have to explain it if you don't want. Superhero name too.

Apparently, mine are creating and controlling ice and fire.

My superhero name is Shouto.

[Which is obviously still his real name, but alternate him and actual him share the exact same naming sense.

Is that supposed to be comforting or not?]

And you'd never have to worry about getting your car stuck in the mud on a dirt road.
It'd be so useful.

Being able to make a fire would be good too.

Especially if you got lost and needed one.

Or if you learned how to make smoke signals, then you'd never get lost.

I don't go wondering in the woods that often.

Yeah, fires and QR codes. Not sure what they have in common.

Have you remembered how to make fire or something?

It'll probably come up soon. There was that thing about reading maps too, a while back.

I have no idea how to make fire. I "used to" be able to set myself on fire.

Yeah, Jim is weirdly good about warning us for stuff, even in the roundabout way of his.

You mean without burning yourself, right?

Do you know how to make a fire? Do you think we'll lose matches next?

It didn't look like I got burned.

I have a lighter at home for my grill, but that's about it. I could do it if I had some flint but that's not exactly the kind of thing people have lying around either.

That's good. Was that your superpower?

We keep some matches around for mom's candles, but that's about it.

Not getting burned? I think it was part of my powers. Ice and fire and not getting burned from my own flames. I definitely got chilly after using ice though.

Hopefully Jim won't just that stuff disappear.

That's pretty rad, though. Guess the fire lets you stay warm if you get too cold.

Hopefully not all of it at a time.

And the cold helps if I get too cold.
I guess I'd want the ice side first, since we're getting into summer.

You'd be pretty popular if you could make ice at the beach or something.

Maybe.
But there's nothing as good as ice-cream.

[judgementkazzy]

Maybe if you trained hard enough you could make ice cream! Or at least shaved ice, right?

I think shaved ice is more likely.
Ice-cream has a lot of extra ingredients.

Yeah, you'd need one of those machines and milk and stuff...
It's definitely something to keep in mind. They probably sell those flavored syrups at the grocery store.

I could probably set something up on the beach.
Assuming I get the ice.

Maybe someday, right?
It'd be pretty cool.

I'd appreciate the ice more since it's summer.
If I have to get one.

Yeah, hopefully you'll get that one first.
Who knows how we get these powers back besides luck, anyway.

It's probably luck.
The memories come when similar things happen from here and there.
Maybe if I try really hard to make an ice cube?

Yeah, I've had a few cases where that happened, too.
Maybe? Or however the other-you did it the first time. But guessing that would have to be luck, too.

I don't think what I saw was his first time using his power.
The fire side, maybe.
He seemed off balance using it.

That might make getting fire powers back will be easier.
But fire isn't really what you want for the summer...
Sounds like it might be tough.
