Hi everyone. a lot has happened in the past few months and Retrospec seems to be pulling in more and more people. we don't have all the answers yet and it's pretty scary at times... to make things even weirder, there are multiple people who have encountered spirits in the woods like myself call them ghosts or specters -- whatever they are, they used to live here and they're agitated about something. I don't know what that is but I want to find out I'll be exploring a different area rumored to have spirits and other weird things happening there. someone suggested we work together so I'm opening this up to everyone. if you want to come, let me know and I'll give you the details privately. bring a flashlight and a camera if you have one. if we do run into them, the shades respond best to people who are friendly and polite. be courteous to your elders and all that's about it. if we find anything I'll be sure to let everyone know.

Ghosts, really? It seems like what we see here gets more and more supernatural in nature every day. Are you certain of this?

I've seen them and talked to them and I was never able to do that before a couple months ago
maybe they're not the ghosts you think of on TV but they're fragments of people who used to live here.

There is no scientific basis for the concept of a spirit or soul, or the idea of an afterlife. When we die that is it. There must be an alternative explanation.

sometimes they're hard for me to track but they're dressed in older clothes mostly. like Elvis era. they're mostly older people who understand the meaning of family.....
I don't know why they're upset. they can only tell me that something's wrong
it might've been the woods themselves, since they didn't like the weird flowers that showed up.
you know the blue ones that talk back? they kept trying to lead us away from them

I'm a scientist of a sort myself so I understand the skepticism.
I've considered that it might be something from the visions I've had leaking over too.

Is that what those flowers were leading us away from? I avoid the forest entirely because of them right now. Their whispers were very troubling.

I am not quite sure what to think of ghosts, though right now anything seems possible. I do not know that I can help much with investigating them. I have no experience with this sort of thing, but if you happen to learn something, I might want to hear it.

honestly I'm not an expert either.

last time they just kind of... shut down and wouldn't trust us at all.

Just be careful. There's always the possibility that this is somehow a trick of Retrospec's. But, I can't say that it's definitely that. So many strange powers, so why couldn't there be ghosts?

I had the same kind of power in my visions. my friends weren't ghosts exactly but more like some kind of... nature spirit? it's hard to explain.
they were invisible to humans

I almost assumed you had to have some sort of power. It only makes sense. Considering all the unnatural things happening, this was bound to be part of it.

Maybe they do, maybe they don't. I would lean towards the thought that they do, but either way it doesn't matter. You have something that you need to investigation, after all.

especially when everyone was dressed like the middle ages and fighting with swords and spears
I can't really explain what I saw but it didn't seem like science was remotely involved.
my best friend was invisible to everyone
and I've seen him conjure huge amounts of water twice in those visions

maybe the world I was in before wasn't one that operates with the same laws we have here

Yes, exactly. More or less the "Something happens when we die, so of course ghosts could exist." I never felt it didn't mesh with my beliefs at least.

Right, which makes it more suspect than the fact that my beliefs still have exorcists. You want to be sure you aren't seeing things.

No, actually I'm Catholic. My religion has them. We just don't have nearly as many of them anymore. My visions only have assassins.

I'll be honest, from what I've remembered-- and granted, I remember hardly anything-- I'll be honest; ghosts wouldn't surprise me at this point.
