Hi everyone. a lot has happened in the past few months and Retrospec seems to be pulling in more and more people. we don't have all the answers yet and it's pretty scary at times...

to make things even weirder, there are multiple people who have encountered spirits in the woods

like myself

call them ghosts or specters -- whatever they are, they used to live here and they're agitated about something. I don't know what that is but I want to find out

I'll be exploring a different area rumored to have spirits and other weird things happening there. someone suggested we work together so I'm opening this up to everyone. if you want to come, let me know and I'll give you the details privately. bring a flashlight and a camera if you have one.

if we do run into them, the shades respond best to people who are friendly and polite. be courteous to your elders and all

that's about it. if we find anything I'll be sure to let everyone know.

[ooc: ooc signups + a teeny bit more plot info is here! Please make sure to take a look!]

Ghosts? Really?

You're all just wasting your time. It's probably just hallucinations, like the one's we've been getting from our past lives or whatever.

Exploring an abandoned place is what you call fun? Sure, okay, whatever.

Putting this in a social networking platform is risky though 'cause you might get a lot of interested people. That'll defeat the entire point of trespassing into someone's territory.

But how the hell would 10+ people sneak into uncharted territory without getting caught? This doesn't seem like some dare you're dared to do in high school.

You won't be dealing with just noisy kids, but nosy adults as well.

I'm out of the loop when it comes to figuring out about this city, but more details would be appreciated. I just want to be updated, even for a little bit.

Who the hell brings a sword to an investigation? That does more harm than good, tbh.

There was a similar post like this on the app just a few days ago about exploring the forest but bringing a shit-ton of people to something like that sounded too dangerous. Limiting it to less than 10 people would be more effective, imo.

So in the end it turned into a camping trip. What a waste of effort.

But okay, I'll join this little expedition this time around, but only because it doesn't seem so crowded compared to the first one. I need to see this for myself... if there's even anything to see in the first place.
