hi guys! quick question one of my bingo squares is to dress in the opposite of my aesthetic for a week which I think means dressing like a preppy girl, probably (bluh!) but the trouble is I don't own any clothes like that! so, does anybody have any preppy looking clothes I can borrow for a little while? like khakis, brand name stuff, anything on this list basically (it would all be in a girls size small btw) on a related note @James can you cover for me at the mall while this is going on for obvious reasons I don't want the gang to know it's me

well it's not so much about wearing non-black things
it's because you don't get much more conformist than preppy fashion!
so it's like... wearing the flag of the "enemy," sort of
obviously I don't really think of it that way but I know Nancy does for instance
you'd think cheerleaders killed her parents, except she also hates her parents

Nancy's full of BS. If she can't take you wearing conformist clothes for a week, then that's her problem. The only enemy here is "playing by the rules," Nancy's or anyone else's.

[ Which, technically speaking, would mean they're the enemy too for playing by Retrospec's bingo rules, but James makes an exception for the rules of a literally omnipotent company who are untouchable unless you do play by the rules. Not that he's happy about it, but he's never happy there's nothing about this that could make him happy anyway. ]

although now you have me wondering what would count as "dressing by no one's rules"
since all fashion styles have certain rules and expectations to follow
the only exceptions I can think of are streaking and people-of-walmart couture
which is also sometimes streaking
