found: weapon of dubious quality in locked car
Yoon-sung Lee shared a photo.

Does this gun belong to anyone? และในข่าวอื่น ๆ ฉันได้รับความสามารถในการพูดในภาษาใหม่ คาดเดาอะไร? ดูเหมือนว่า hallucinomemories มาจากสามเหลี่ยมทองคำ!
[OOC: basically: And in other news, I've gained the ability to speak in a new language. Guess what? Looks like the hallucinomemories are from the Golden Triangle!]
[action]
[Okay, that was enough losing. Yoon-sung powered down the tablet and slides off the hood, slipping his feet into his shoes as he does so. The tablet was jsut small enough to go into an inner pocket of his jacket and he turned around to pat the bright and kinda sparkly volcanic orange side of the car. ]
I had the Oceanic blue one but had to get the volcanic color when blue disappeared.
[action]
[ And here, he lowers his voice. He didn't see anyone else around, but he's not risking it. ]
And you just kept a gun in here? In the most noticeable car in a twenty mile radius?
[action]
[ Yoon-sung presses his thumb against the lock and tiny lights flicker on before the door soundlessly opens upwards. He glances at Bucky, sees his expression and laughs. ]
Haven't you heard the saying 'the most obvious place is the last place to look'? [ He might be saying it wrong, but his English isn't always 100% accurate. ] Anyone would over look anything outside of rich person's car, really.
[action]
[ He gawks once the door slides up. ]
Okay, see, this--this is unnecessary. Just--ugh, okay, where is it? Glove compartment?
[action]
[ Humming, he finds his briefcase and transfers his tablet to the side compartment and setting it back behind the driver's seat. ]
It is not. It's designed to give race cars a run for their money, and the doors are a part of cutting down airflow problems. And yes, it's here but I can't just hand it over to you in the open like this. There are these things called security cameras around here.
[action]
Alright, fine. Where do you want to do this that's camera-free and cop-free?
[action]
[ He was grinning, mainly because he knew that people did not like him driving. It wasn't that he was bad at it, he just saw the road and everyone else on it as part of a live action racing game. It didn't help that viewpoint by having a ridiculous car that was only street legal by a few little tweaks. ]
[action]
[ Not like that stops him from getting into the car as directed. Everything else in his life is so weird that this barely even registers. 'Stranger danger' doesn't even count with internet friends any more anyway. ]
[action]
[ He flatten out his voice, adding a little grit as well to sound just like the kind of perverted old men from cheesy movies, before laughing and making sure he has engaged his seat belt. Which he also waits for Bucky to lock into place before starting the car by pressing his thumb on the ignition switch. ]
Let's go to the beach.
[action]
Yeah, off a cliff. I don't think that gimmick works with guys who're already in high school. Candy's not enough incentive at our age.
But sure, beach it is. That should give us enough space.
[action]
[ With a wink, Yoon-sung shifted out of neutral and gunned it, casually spinning the wheel with one hand as they turned out of the parking spot. The car's wheels made a squeak and he just guns it, heading for the highway and beyond, ignoring the slower moving cars by swinging around them as he left the parking lot. ]
But I suppose that's also an old enough trick that most people don't fall for these days, right?
[action]
James grips the car door with one hand and braces the other against arm rest. There is NO NEED to be going this fast in a parking lot. OR ON ANY ROADS EITHER. ]
Holy crap, we're not racing anyone, you know that right?
[ He might sound just a little bit nervous. Less because he's scared, honestly, and more because he's never experienced driving like this before. ]
[action]
We aren't? I thought that everyone on the road is a possible enemy waiting to cut you off.
[ He does kinda slows down, but that might be because the light up ahead had flicked to a yellow. By the time it flicks to red, he has actually stopped. ]
Wanna listen to some music? [ He's already gearing up the radio, but instead of the usual, he was putting on some B Block. Which means as the stoplight switches to green and he coaxes the gas, the heavy bass of a song has just lead to someone yelling 'Food Fight!' ]
[action]
(Again.)
He relaxes as they roll up to the red light. Honestly he thought they were going to fly past it, he has no idea how Yoon-sung managed to get it to slow down so quickly. ]
Who taught you to drive?
[action]
B Block switches to some Big Bang as he drives close to normal speed in this part of the street, but he is inching up the speed so by the time they are moving into suburbia he is coasting over the limit. Again. ]
Let's see... there was Father for a couple weeks and then he had a Trippy Smith from the National Racing team teach me. Why?
[action]
He scoffs at him. ]
Oh, National Racing team. That explains it.
[action]
Hey! He stuck me in a roller derby junker with a roll cage and made me zoom around in it. Father thought it was hilarious.
[action]
[ But he's not gonna keep complaining. Going at these speeds is cool as hell now that he's adjusted to it and his only regret is that the ride will be over too soon. The sad thing about going fast is you get to your destination quicker. ]
[action]
[ He's sorry James that he can't make the trip last that long. Especially since now they were pulling into a sandy spot by the water and coming to a stop yet again. Yoon-sung pops open the door and takes a deep breath. ]
Now I was suppose to give you something right?
[action]
As fun as that car ride ended up being, he came out here with a purpose and he is anxious to get to it. ]
Yeah. You said the glove compartment, right?
[ Screw getting out of the car, he's leaning in to open the compartment as he speaks anyway. ]
[action]
Wrong spot.
[ And he goes to the back where he had stashed his work bag and opens it up, removes it, and slides open another compartment under it. ]
[action]
Well.
That's a little safer at least.
[ He leans in to pick up the gun--very carefully, making sure it's never aimed at either of them even if the safety's on and his finger is off the trigger. First priority: checking if the gun is loaded or not.
Once he removes the magazine and checks, he slumps in a sigh of relief. ]
Okay, it's empty, we're good.
