hey, for the record we aren't keeping records on you through your electronics. they're useful tools sometimes but they're not required. mr. halloway wanted you (the people meeting at the utsuki dojos at 8pm on sundays) to know it's a nice effort but he still doesn't see any secret codes or handshakes so the meetings aren't spy-level enough to keep him happy yet. also he made me take notes on all of them. i don't really care about how spy-level they are, though.

also the technicians managed to fix some things.

As of this post, the following changes have been made to the world:

• Normal limes are available alongside the dancing variety.
• Horse-related items such as horseshoes, bridles, and feeding bags. These items will still be regarded as unusual or fake by NPCs but will be available in various locations.
• Visual media regains the color blue. This applies to all forms of film whether watching on-screen, online, or reviewing videos PCs recorded prior to the loss of color. Please note this is only videos, not pictures.

they've probably got the whole town bugged honestly, they start out by monitoring us and where we go and set up their network, then add us to the network. then they take the next month or two to decide and rig for the next batch, and so on

tatsuo already worked at the dojo so they had it bugged already

it'd also explain why going certain places gets weird--like when we went into the tunnels last month. once you reached a certain point in the tunnel you started feeling on edge and it just got worse until we finally turned back. i read an article about how noises at specific frequencies can trigger reactions like that

so if we try to go somewhere they wouldn't be able to watch us from maybe they trigger something like that

so basically
if you're right about that what you're saying is, we can't go anywhere that they can't watch us anyway?
like even if we find a place where they can't keep an eye on us, we'd feel sick or whatever?

who knows? it's as good a guess as anything else we've got

but you've gotta admit, it would make sense

i mean almost all of our plans to avoid them have been things like making codes or w/e
but if they can listen to us anywhere in the city, that makes things extra complicated

from here on out we should probably assume we're being monitored at all times

which means that personally i think we're back to shouting retrospec's secrets from the mountaintops

there's no point in trying to be secret and giving jim something funny to watch or w/e if they all know what we're doing anyway

that's right, make everybody's lives easier

i guess that means we should do some sort of update to everybody else about what we've been discussing at the past few meetings, huh?

i'd rather see jim get frustrated about people not trying to be sneaky AND keep the info spreading, anyway

it IS pretty funny

so new plan: once we get a chance, those of us who have been attending sunday night meetings will make a joint post to share all the info we've shared with the class

yeah okay i've seen that argument too

that maybe they're trying to undo the damage that someone ELSE did first

but if that's the case that means there's another force ta work that we haven't heard anything about yet

you'd think they'd want to tell us about something like that

you'd also think the retrospec stuff would be affected too if it was someone else pulling this garbage
and that jim wouldn't be such an asshole about how their eyes were still blue or whatever

it's the part about jim being a tool that really makes me think the theory's wrong

i could buy that they're using themselves as guinea pigs, they test out these potential fixes before they say anything about it to us

but with jim practically FLAUNTING the fact that they still had blue things that pretty much throws that theory right out the window

if we download the video and burn it onto a disc are we going to load it up one day to find that the disc is blank

what happens if we try to show the video to someone that's not on the network any more, do they see it or nothing?

maybe we should give it a try
