hey, for the record we aren't keeping records on you through your electronics. they're useful tools sometimes but they're not required. mr. halloway wanted you (the people meeting at the utsuki dojos at 8pm on sundays) to know it's a nice effort but he still doesn't see any secret codes or handshakes so the meetings aren't spy-level enough to keep him happy yet. also he made me take notes on all of them. i don't really care about how spy-level they are, though. also the technicians managed to fix some things. Yoon-sung Lee Exactly. We just need to get the points and not really finish the quests exactly how they think they need to be done.
Yoon-sung Lee What's next? As a rich jerk hacker, I'd cut off what you think you need to survive.
Yoon-sung Lee Not food or water or that stuff necessarily.
Yoon-sung Lee But like communications with others or the ability to share information, or heck, toss all of you into a maze that you can't signal out of.

Hitori Togusa Do I get to ask why?
Hitori Togusa I mean, we've been running on the idea that this is all an experiment, but it's a social one.
Hitori Togusa Taking the 'multi' out of the MMO there? What behavior are you looking for then?
no subject
Yoon-sung Lee Sure.
Yoon-sung Lee Think about it for a minute.
Yoon-sung Lee You have a group of people that is using the system to jump over obstacles using the 'multi' features of the system.
Yoon-sung Lee They're able to redirect their forces, or share information that shouldn't be shared, or even use the platform to attack in ways that they shouldn't be able to.
Yoon-sung Lee So you cut them off and you try to see if they are able to solve the problem without outside influences.
Yoon-sung Lee Or you attempt to show them that they need to focus on using what limited skills they have available to solve the problem and not take it to the rest of the 'multi' persons there.

Hitori Togusa Make sure everyone only gets credit for what they've done.
Hitori Togusa Keep somebody (I wonder who could have done this) from posting the walk-throughs or quest locations in the chat.
Hitori Togusa We still need each other, but everybody has to put in the work, by themselves.
Hitori Togusa I repeat that it irritates me that this is making sense.

Yoon-sung Lee Bending the rules is okay once and a while, but if the users are always doing it, you'll want to see how and why and how to fix it.
Yoon-sung Lee Which means limiting how things are done, and isolating the cause before exercising it.
Yoon-sung Lee You can't fully ban them - maybe it is a beta test and you need the information for later security patches.
Yoon-sung Lee But you can certainly restrict them into making choices or how they access such choices.
Yoon-sung Lee It does sound a little too real like that, doesn't it?

Hitori Togusa I'm still trying to duplicate the only glitch we've found so far.
[The one Yoon-sung himself showed him. The one Togusa still doesn't understand the significance of. Why is the building only there sometimes?]
Hitori Togusa Even the GMs can't control what we do offline. Not really.

Yoon-sung Lee There's a lot of talent in potential within our group, we just haven't really gone with just using that talent.
Yoon-sung Lee Yeah, that was a one shot glitch and I think that they might have noticed someone cracked it and covered it up.
Yoon-sung Lee True, but they are definitely going to step up matters.

Hitori Togusa Thanks again for your help so far.

Yoon-sung Lee I try.
