[the video starts up with sora in the background, sitting down on beanbag in what looks like the animal shelter, with two puppies on his lap rolling around and one standing on his chest and licking at the boy's face.]

Testing audio, testing... Yo, Sora. What's your favorite kind of dog?

ALL OF THEM!

...sure got that.

[suddenly, the mastermind behind this video shows up. clearly, that's prompto, big smile on his face.]

Hey guys!

Sora and I wish to make a special announcement!

[there's like two more dogs on top of sora, who is excitedly waving at the camera]

We have so many dogs that need walking at the animal shelter, so we thought, hey! Help us walk them! It's really fun! We'll provide the dog treats and leashes, so come on down any time.

[there's the sound of a plastic bag opening, explosively]

WHY WOULD WE WANNA WALK THEM?

--because dogs need love too, Sora--

[prompto turns around to look at sora, but there's no sora?? he has effectively been overwhelmed by puppers and has disappeared under said dogs. there's a lot of barking going on right now.]

There's treats everywhere?!! Sora! --uh, dude!

[he grabs his phone, shutting off the recording, and it’s likely he’s running off to help sora. maybe.]

[prompto starts, as he picks up a few puppies in his hands. they wiggle and squirm, but prompto's hold is strong until he places them down on the floor and off the young teen]

This isn't entirely a bad way to leave this mortal world. Suffocated by happy puppies. --that was a massive explosion of treats though.

[snickers..]

[You can tell that Sora is definitely still alive because he's giggling like a maniac under the puppy explosion. He's trying to make his way out, but it's hard because there are puppies everywhere and they're wiggling and tickling him and he doesn't want to just throw them off.]

You're telling me!

[mercurio]

[he picks up a couple more puppies, leaves for a moment, and puts them inside a basket with a bunch of towels so that they chill for a moment]

[returning, he grabs a few more, and he can finally see sora]

I'm leaving that on the video, dude.

You need some help getting up?

Yes please!

[He's still laughing, though, so getting him out of the puppy pile isn't the utmost emergency either. Then again, maybe he's just ticklish.]

I didn't even know we had this many puppies in right now!

Some of these aren't, honestly.

[he picks up a chihuahua, that definitely does not look like the litter of puppies]

[but, he offers his free hand to sora]

C'mon, up on your feet.

[Sora takes the hand, and lets Prompto pull him to his feet, knocking the few remaining puppies off of him. He looks a bit guilty at that, but the puppies are fine.]

Thanks. I might've been stuck there forever without you.

[mercurio]

Not a bad thing.

[casually, he pats sora's head]

You don't got any pets at home, right?

Huh? Who told you that? I've had a ton of pets!

[Sora laughs, because him not having pets is probably the funniest thing he can think of. He's practically running his own animal shelter out of his garage.]

I've got a dog and a cat that are mine, but I take in lots of animals who need help.
