dear abby...
Surei Doushi
7/17 near Apprassagehey everyone! it's been a little while, so I have two things for you all.
the first is that I've written up everything we saw on the ghost trip I organized late last month. if you'd like to hear the details, let me know and I'll send over the document.
the second is that I'm starting an advice column! I need things to write advice about, so feel free to comment with things you'd like help with. I promise I'll try my best to make it good advice.
I'm definitely returning as a teacher next year and I need the experience!
...... and the bingo square.

[The next text comes after a brief pause.]
What about relationship advice? I'm sure a lot of people would benefit from that.
['People' as in him.]

ah... I guess I can give advice for that!
me and Mikleo have a unique sort of relationship, so I'm not sure it'll help.
but we've been together a while so maybe...?
what is it you want to know specifically?

Makes you wonder what else is haunted around here...
Ah...well, maybe signs to know if someone likes you back?
Or, how to confess your feelings?
[He needs so much help.]

[Oh no. Oh no, he is not qualified for this. Time for Sorey to sweat profusely.]
okay, well... I waited WAY too long and Mikleo won't let me forget it until the day I die, so I guess there's a couple things I learned...
- don't wait until you're out of high school. you only get ONE prom. maybe two if you go as a junior. and if it's someone you go to school with, you'd better believe they're waiting for you to ask them out!
- don't kiss them just because they start crying. it looks like you're pitying them even if you're not and it actually might make things worse. if you kiss them and they cry afterward then you still want to talk about things though
- be honest when you tell them you like them! and if they think they're not worth it, or they seem like they don't believe you, tell them every single thing you love about them even if it's small or sounds dumb.
- if you want to see if they like you, I think body language says it all. try holding their hand if things are stressful or you're just having fun somewhere. actions speak louder than words, after all. you can say you like someone as much as you want, but if you're not their friend first and foremost then it won't go anywhere.
- at the same time, be respectful of their boundaries. if they don't want to be touched or they lash out, try to understand them instead of getting defensive or pushy.

Okay. These all sound like really good tips. But...what if the person you like is affectionate towards all of their friends? I don't think holding her hand will tell me whether she feels the same way or not...
