But seriously don't. I lost a finger and I got nothing but dark miasma, everyone thinking I was a crazy person, and suffering. And only TWO of those are an ordinary part of my life. Nine fingered typing is infinitely harder than you would think it would be! It's really inconvenient and annoying. Along with, well, missing a pinkie. That's a bad thing.

So I'm putting this up here to make sure no one repeats my mistake, and at least, someone gets something out of this.

Well a magic scabbard asked us if we'd done anything good in our lives. I hadn't so I performed a sacrifice as a symbol of willingness to change that fact.

I'm not sure what's more ridiculous, the fact there's a talking magic scabbard at all or that you had to prove something to it.

I mean sacrifice in general.

Evil and resentment don't exist in a void. They come from something. And one of the greatest, most classical examples of this, is rejection of sacrifice. When you endure suffering, when you give up parts of yourself, and yet all that it is met with is rejection. Or, even worse, with nothing. That's what breeds resentment.

That's what breed malevolence.

But, I'm not resentful nor malevolent so, this is mostly just me musing philosophically.
