75% of the time that will fuck you over. Source on that figure: A retrospec employee who literally tripped and got stuck in a chest and we had to rescue. So his info might not be uh, the most accurate thing in the world but still.

But seriously don't. I lost a finger and I got nothing but dark miasma, everyone thinking I was a crazy person, and suffering. And only TWO of those are an ordinary part of my life. Nine fingered typing is infinitely harder than you would think it would be! It's really inconvenient and annoying. Along with, well, missing a pinkie. That's a bad thing.

So I'm putting this up here to make sure no one repeats my mistake, and at least, someone gets something out of this.

Um... with magic. We had stopped the bleeding before, using more conventional methods. That was just dealing with the actual wound itself.

And hey, just to add more fuel to that.... apparently healing magic makes you more attractive to this "unreality" stuff.

...You see, while that is creepy, it is also useful. So don't discount it that much.

Which, in layman's terms, can be roughly summed up as "if you fuck up miserably and end up putting your life and your teammates lives in danger because of your own stupidity and insecurities, do you really deserve to get the thing you sacrificed back?"

Well, I learned rabbit spirits really don't like blood sacrifice, other people have abnormally, or perhaps normally, low standards for goodness, and that overall, finger chopping is a bad idea.

So, I suppose I learned some superficial things.
