Hi everyone. I know I've introduced myself on here before, but for those of you who don't know me, my name is Fai Lachance. I'm a social worker here in Recolle, and after I finish my masters program I'll be a licensed mental health professional.

Which brings me to my point. It's been a bad month, if not for all of us then certainly most of us. I want to again extend an offer to anyone who thinks they might want or benefit from counseling services. While again I should stress I am not yet licensed, I have practice with support groups and group therapy but I would be willing to try one-on-one counseling sessions if you would prefer to do this by yourself.

I have the next couple of weeks off of work, so I'm available most of the time if anyone would like to... make an appointment?? (Ha, I feel weird saying that!) And if anyone is interested in another support group session please let me know, we might be able to set something up.

how's your work going? I guess you probably haven't been able to get much done with everything that's been happening?

Yeah, I had to recollect my thoughts and go through what I needed to do. I'll need to catch up on some lesson planning, too. But at least the things from this month should be over by now. What about you? How are things going? Is work going well?

I'm doing ok! I'm taking a few weeks out of work after all of that last month, but no one's come crying to me that the office is falling apart without me quite yet ;)

It seems funny to think that after a giant monster invasion, classes will be starting soon, doesn't it?

Is it helping you rest up any? Being away from work.

It really does. But it’ll be some form of normalcy back in place, and after everything that’s been going on, I’ve missed that.

It is! I'm still getting around and getting things done, so I'm not being too lazy, but I'm trying to rest up like I'm supposed to ♥

You're right. I think a lot of people will be happy to have something normal and routine again. Just think, students actually looking forward to school starting!

I have never really imagined you as “lazy” either way, so I wouldn’t have said you were. As long as you rest well, that’s good.

As a teacher, I’d be a little sad if they didn’t look forward to it at all, even just a little bit or subconsciously. But yes, it’s coming a little more easily, that they are looking forward to it.
