yo. looks like there's still some residual effects coming up, but they should be pretty harmless since the kid was in charge of redistribution. she says it should be "cool". just don't do some damn idiot thing about them and you should be fine.

this is absolutely not in my job description but the intern's busy and half of r&d is still banned and hr is on honeymoon. so you'll just have to deal with the lack of fancy bullshit.

anyway. good luck or whatever.

As of this post, normal lemons now exist alongside the dancing variety!

As a reminder, a thread from this post with at least five consecutive comments from you is this month's qualification for a free regain!

Please feel free to use this post as a network mingle. Every toplevel can be considered a new post, and threadjacking is permitted. No NPC response will be given. Usernames are the character's full real AU names, not aliases or chosen nicknames or usernames, and seemed to have filled themselves in; nothing characters do can change or obscure their names currently. New characters will find that the first image they put as their userpic is locked in for the month, though it will be able to be changed in October.
This is an overflow to the post located here. Feel free to continue old threads on it or to post new ones.

mystery car presents sound a little nicer than mystery phone apps, but i guess it would be a little weird to find weapons in your backseat.
has anyone tried to return the stuff they've received?

i'm not sure.
there's something else that happens, however.
you're given the sense that whatever you receive belongs to you. feels weird to get rid of it.

like a weird foreboding feeling? or one of those things you just get stuck thinking about and there's no ignoring it, and you can't get rid of it until you pick up whatever it is?
either one does not sound that great.

the latter, i guess? it just doesn't feel right to toss it.

awesome, so this thing can manipulate our emotions, too. i think.
i guess it is hard to say.
i'll have to see if anyone has tried to throw their mystery presents away. if they can show up out of nowhere you have to wonder what happens afterwards.
or maybe that's just me.

among other things, yes.

and i wouldn't want to risk getting rid of anything, personally. i would've died last month if i hadn't had my bow. and it was a close thing even with it.
though it'd be an interesting experiment.

at least we're a little more prepared for it now. sort of.

ok better yet if i get something that does not matter much i will probably try to throw it away and see what happens.
i'll let you know how it goes! for curiosity's sake.
