For those of you who don’t know me, which is likely many of you, my name is Katherie Takada. I am a licensed counsellor at Recolle University, and as such this message is directed towards students, both returning and first years, of Recolle University. For most of us with the Recolle App the last month has undeniably been difficult. For those of you on the app who are students at Recolle University, I will be offering one-on-one counseling and guidance for emotional support and any other concerns there may be. Although my current week is at the moment busy with other duties, I will be available for the rest of the semester and onwards. For non-RU students and others who are seeking counseling, I would like to direct you to this post by Fiacre Lachance, who will also be offering counseling for the next few weeks. I guess so.
Its just been a rather hectic few week is all.

It has, the more Retrospec related things happen the more hectic it is.
I hope they don’t disrupt school related things too much.

Something tells me its only going to get worse.
Remember all that one time when the entire ground of the campus was replaced with some huge scrabble game?

Probably.
Scrabble... I don't know.. What is scrabble?
So much has happened since February that things blend together..

Scrabble is a word game that involves little wooden letter tiles and completing words on a board.

Its a bit overwhelming, I know.
Has anyone given you the rundown on whats going on yet?

Oh. So that's what that game is called.

You mean with Retrospec overall? I have had the app since it first started to appear.

I thought you were another newcomer.
Sorry, that was my mistake.

I'm not but that's alright. It's not always easy to know how long someone has been involved.

I guess I was jumping to conclusions in that regard.

If its okay to ask, what was it like when the app first came out?

Don't worry about it, Kath-sensei.

It was very confusing, and there was nowhere to turn for any form of answers. A whole lot of more frustration all over the board with the whole thing, since nobody could explain anything.

That definitely makes sense.
You were all thrown into this without any idea what was going on.
Just like every other new person is.

Yes, but that’s why a lot of us try to be of at least a little help to the new people who got it after us.

Thats very nice of you all.
I don't think I would have taken it all as well back then if it weren't for the people I talked to.

Doing the opposite wouldn't help anyone, not us either.
No, I can imagine. The people that I talked to helped too.

I guess it wouldn't, really.

If there's one good thing thats come out of this, its the community thats formed.

Yes, though it's a strange way to form a community.

It is, isn't it?
But with a community, there's at least some form of a support system.
Like I said, I wouldn't have coped with this so well if it wasn't for the people I was able to talk to.
