TEXT ♞ INFO SHARING

Hey everyone, Souji (in blue) and Dave (in red) here. I know that some of us don't want to remember the events of last month, especially not so soon, but it's important for us to share what we found or did while it's still fresh in our minds. So, this is a general discussion post for everything that happened in August.

to that end theres gonna be an in person meeting later on possibly with refreshments
were not above bribery here even if i am personally above fancy capital letters
but info that maybe shouldnt wait for then is that team space jam found a dead dude who had a thing that said according to a sphinx
the recolle project is a thing that is like reconstruction rather than reincarnation bringing back stuff thats ours

Essentially, the Recollé Project outlines this stuff as memories, items, and abilities. Rather than regaining things from a past life like reincarnation as Dave said, it's more like regaining things that were buried - to bring them forth to us.

There wasn't much else in the report asides from a map of the city, but the sphinx (it’s a long story but it appeared to have knowledge about the project) confirmed that this was true.

so anyway bring yourselves and possibly snacks to the sandiego foundation on saturday
we will try to make sure at least one person from every team from last months little whatever is around
newbies and oldbies should both come to revel in the glory of information
and like seasonally themed snacks maybe we will have pumpkin pie because i want some
last but not least and speaking of newbies theres one more thing to go over here

It's clear that Retrospec is going to continue adding new users to their app so Dave and I thought it was best that we created a guide to Retrospec for all the future newcomers (and old users too). We're going to type something up really soon but we wanted to ask what you'd like to see in the guide. Frequently asked questions answered, what we know so far about the Retrospec team, how to change your font into a really cool colour like ours, stuff like that.

nearly as cool anyway
you have to do some serious training and animal spirit sensing to get a color as cool as this
but yeah talk at you all later
or like soonish when you reply

( ooc: this is an ic discussion and info gathering post that is open to everyone, so feel free to jump into other threads and whatnot! this takes place alongside the in-person ic info gathering post which can be found here )

Hm.
Not that I can remember?
We fought a yeti in the mines and some crocodiles in the swamp.
And then ghosts in the house.
But none of them said much, at least not to me.

Okay. Thank you, that's good. I'm trying too hard to make a connection that isn't there.

It's too easy to think that there might just be someone else sitting with their hand on another button to pull you all where you went. So. Scratch that one.
notyourutopian: Do not take! (If I could kill you with my mind...)

[personal profile] notyourutopian 2017-09-07 03:00 am (UTC)(link)
I suppose it's possible someone else heard something?
But I don't know

It felt random

I'm getting conflicting answers from people about whether they think those spaces still exist, after all of you got back.

So. If it was random, then there might be a lot more of those 'unreality' spaces that you could have ended up in, not just the ones you all saw. I have no idea what to think about that idea.
notyourutopian: Do not take! (Distant and considering.)

[personal profile] notyourutopian 2017-09-19 02:02 am (UTC)(link)
I think they do.
but who knows right?
We don't have any way to prove it one way or another.

But I mean, anything is possible at this point.
As odd as it is to say that.
standalonehuman: (TogusaHunh)

[personal profile] standalonehuman 2017-09-20 06:19 pm (UTC)(link)
We don't have a way to prove it until and unless this happens again.

So, formal request, Retrospec, can the next unreality storm be of adorable puppies instead of monsters everywhere?
notyourutopian: (Hmm.)

[personal profile] notyourutopian 2017-09-21 03:58 am (UTC)(link)
Hey, it's worth a shot.
I mean, they ignore almost everything then pick some random suggestion to implement so
Everything's got a chance I suppose.

You realize raining puppies is kind of horrifying though right?
standalonehuman: (TogusaPonder)

[personal profile] standalonehuman 2017-09-23 08:37 pm (UTC)(link)
You know, they said they'd accept one, but did they ever actually implement anybody's suggestions from that one survey?

I would be glad to handle raining puppies for the unwilling.
notyourutopian: (Restless Nights)

[personal profile] notyourutopian 2017-09-24 02:00 am (UTC)(link)
I haven't any idea, actually.

It's not the raining part that's the problem
It's the ground that's the problem.

Damn, Retrospec still ruins everything.

You know. Okay. So, there was an odd note about this current glitch that I can't get out of my mind. We met Joanne, nice kid. Comes off like she's just trying her best to do a job.

Wendy made it sound like there was some kind of connection between the 'residual effects' and who was in charge of 'redistribution.' Or, the reality reset that Joanne was in charge of.
notyourutopian: (Hmm.)

[personal profile] notyourutopian 2017-09-26 02:44 am (UTC)(link)
Residual effects?
standalonehuman: (TogusaTalk2)

[personal profile] standalonehuman 2017-09-26 02:47 am (UTC)(link)
Wendy's term for it. I'm betting it's the 'glitch' where people's thoughts keep appearing to each other, or we're getting graphics following us like a damn video game.
notyourutopian: (Hmm.)

[personal profile] notyourutopian 2017-09-30 03:59 pm (UTC)(link)
So they claim what happened wasn't their fault
But this part is
Huh.
standalonehuman: (TogusaFrown)

[personal profile] standalonehuman 2017-10-03 09:43 pm (UTC)(link)
I know, right?

I can sort of understand it, that they're trying to mitigate the damage of something else out there that they can't control.

But then what is it that's really the cause of it all? Hypothetical question.
