Minako Arisato shared a photo. February 14th near Recollé University

The baking party has started and the first batch of Minako's Valentine's Day Festa truffles is done! And will be eaten while I frost the cupcakes, hehehe. Come by the RU kitchens any time you like, I'll literally be here all night with my friends Chocolate, Sprinkles, and Coffee. Let me know if you need directions!

[Alice is around early in the evening, happily and carefully adding bits of dried fruit to molten chocolate. Things aren't turning out so hot in the "shape" department, but if you like chocolate blueberry bark there's plenty of it to go around after everything flattens out.]

Oh. Well, chocolate's chocolate.

[She's dressed plainly and partly covered in chocolate smears, so she needs to go back to her apartment before her unwitting but not unwelcome blind date, meaning that more toward the middle of the evening she can be seen frowning at Minako's refrigerator, waiting for her confectionary genius to solidify.]

A watched pot never boils-- or something like that. The metaphor isn't quite the same but I think the meaning behind it still applies. [Minako walks by with a big tray of banana bread, fresh from the oven. She shoots Alice a little grin as she sets it down to cool.] Alice, right?

I mean, it's the opposite situation, so it makes sense that it works that way too.

[She smiles.]

Yep. And you must be Minako. Thanks so much for hosting this.

That's me, nice to meet you in person! And it's not a problem at all, you guys are helping me out, really.

[She waves her oven mitt at the banana bread to futilely help it cool faster, then rips off a big chunk before biting into it. Mmm, banana bread bliss.]

If you're worried about time, I can keep an eye on your candy for you while you're out.
