Orihime Inoue shared a video. 09/16 near Recolle University

[ The video begins with what is clearly the inside of one of the college dormitory kitchens. Orihime, wearing an apron that probably needs a few explanations, stands proudly in front of the small counter that currently has stacks and stacks of what appear to be some types of cookies and pastry buns. She gives the feed a happy wave. ]

Hello everyone! My name is Orihime and this is my friend and roommate Soliel.

[ Meanwhile, Soleil--in an apron as well--has taken advantage of the fact Orihime is distracted with the video by stuffing one of the cookies into her mouth. Unfortunately, she doesn’t expect Orihime to start with introductions (that seems awfully formal for showing off some pastries) and has to cover her mouth to hide her chewing. She waves to the video and doesn’t say much in an attempt to avoid Orihime realizing she has gotten into the goods before they have finished. ]

Hey.

[ Orihime either doesn’t realize Soliel has already started assisting with demand by creating scarcity or she’s just okay with her roommate indulging, but either way she doesn’t mention it just yet. She’s just happy to have her on board with this project! ]

We’re both new to Retrsopec and all of, um, everything that’s been going on. It’s a lot to understand, but there was one thing that stuck out when Soliel mentioned it the other day.

[ This is when she looks to Soliel expectantly for her part of the story. ]

[ Soleil does a double take at Orihime. Her hand is already reaching for another cookie, but this sudden attention means she needs to restrain herself. She didn’t expect Orihime to make this a big to-do, but she also doesn’t usually anticipate what Orihime is doing. ]

Uh, well. There isn’t much of a story. I realized the whole situation with horses is seriously messed up. Chocobos are great, sure, whatever, wark wark. But...ponies? No ponies. Anywhere! So I told Orihime and, well, she got ideas. Creative ideas, as always.

[ She gestures to Orihime and then to the baked goods.. ]

Come on, Hime, this was your brain child. Take the credit.

[ Orihime just gives Soliel a big smile and motions to the stacks of pastries behind them. ]

But I wouldn’t have even thought to do this without you! Aaaaand… [ She turns back to the feed. ] ...what we did is make lots and lots of sweets to help us all not forget how much we still love ponies! We have decorated cookies and sweet buns!

[ Soleil spins on her heel. She puts a hand on her hip and holds the other out towards the pile of baked goods, like a woman on a game show presenting the fabulous prizes. She has a dumb grin on her face. She is clearly hamming this up and enjoying the attention. ]

That’s right! If anyone knows Orihime’s sweet buns, it’s me and I can say she has the best around. This is exactly what you should expect from my wife.

Oh, you think so?

[ The implications...are clearly lost on her. ]

That’s so nice of you to say! I guess you do eat a lot of my buns, huh? But I have a lot of fun making them, just like these!

[ Yeah, completely. ]

As you can see, they’re shaped like little horse faces. And the cookies come in all colors of the rainbow! ...Or, um, the colors we have left, at least. They’re sugar cookies with basic icing, but the sweet buns are filled with marshmallow cream, chocolate, strawberry, or cream cheese! And we’ve made a lot!

But, Hime, I want your sweet buns all to myself.

[ And with that, Soleil snatches another cookie and shoves it into Orihime’s mouth. ]

Mmmphhfhf!

[ Om nom nom. It’s surprising but Orihime will happily eat her own cookies. At least she manages to talk with her mouth only half-full. ]

But these were made for sharing! [ Chew chew with cheeks like a chipmunk. ] So if you’d like some, we’ll be happy to package them up for you. If you live on or by the Recolle University Campus it’ll be easy to deliver them, but I’m happy to take them wherever they need to go. Just let us know!

[ A bit is right. In no time, there is a knock at Ann's door. Yes, Soleil ran here despite already being exhausted. Yes, she is still wearing the apron. Yes, in her hands is a stack of individually bagged treats. ]

I heard there's an emergency here! I'm here to the rescue!

[ She is shouting through the door while knocking. ]

[ today's been a rough day and ann's been anxious for a while now; hearing soleil's cheery voice is like a beacon of light, a way to get ann away from her thoughts. she opens the door and puts her best smile on. ]

Hey! Thanks for coming to save me!

[ ann steps to the side. ] Wanna...come in or something? I can get you some water while you're here.

Oh. Sure!

[ Damn it, Ann is still gorgeous. She wonders if she can go back to texting her, even while this close to her. That would be easier...

But she doesn't have time to worry about things like that. She may need to get back to Orihime to help out, but she did overexert herself by sprinting all the way to Ann's place. Water and a moment to catch her breath would be nice. So, she steps in. ]

I'll give these to you once you're back with the water. I want to see your reaction when you eat one and I'm afraid they'll disappear before you're back if I give them to you now.

[ladytakamaki]

[ that's gay solay mary's not in and her side of the room has been tidied up, so ann doesn't see a problem with letting a visitor in for some water. she goes to grab a glass, then fills it up with some tap water, handing it to soleil. ]

My reaction? You think these things'll be mind blowing?

[ because that's just making ann even more excited to try them!! ]

Oh, I guarantee. After all, Orihime put her heart into them and I was barely involved, so they must be good.

[ She tried making one herself and...well, the nightmare that came out could not be called a horse. For what it is worth, though, it tasted fine, ignoring the fact she felt like she was putting it out of its misery. ]

Plus, I've had, like, four already.

You said she was your "wife", right? I...honestly had no idea you were married. Congrats?

[ IS THAT EVEN THE RIGHT THING TO SAY RIGHT NOW.... look, as much as ann is getting used to making friends now, she's still awkward during times like these. ]

[ Her shoulders sag and she just...gives Ann a look. People don't take half the stuff that comes out of her mouth seriously, so why is everyone focusing on THAT of all things to take literally?! ]

...No, we're roommates. She's just extremely domestic and takes care of me.

[ this is your life now. nobody takes you seriously except when you mention you have a wife. ]

Really? Well, Orihime does seem like she's really good at domestic things, like a good spouse would be! Uh, congrats on the perfect roommate?

[ On one hand, the thought of being married is terrifying. On the other, the thought of being married to Orihime is--ugh, she is so confused. ]

Uh, thanks? I did get pretty lucky, especially given I'm useless when it comes to this sort of thing.

Hey, but you're doing deliveries, right? That's your part of the deal. I wouldn't say you're useless at all.

[ blunt, but it's true! ]

Aww, you're sweet. You've just earned yourself your treats.

[ She holds them up and shakes them to entice Ann. ]

Oh, give me one! Please?

[ SHE'S SO HUNGRY DON'T DO THIS TO HER ]

Hmm. Well. You did say please.

[ She tosses one of the five baggies she has. A sweet bun with strawberry filling. She keeps he baggies with the other three flavors of buns and the one with the cookies.

Ann worked hard for that first one. What will she have to do for the other four she was promised??? ]

[ladytakamaki]

[ ann is going to take that bag and nearly rip it open. she takes a bite out of the bun, and...it's heaven.

it's delicious. she's almost crying from how good it is. ]

Seriously....this is amazing!! Mm!!

[ GIVE HER A MOMENT TO FINISH IT...and then.... ]

Okay! Next one, please!

Soleil wants to find a woman that loves her the way Ann loved that bun.

You know what? She is in such awe she will hand over the chocolate-filled one. ]
