I don't usually share the visions, memories or whatever they are, yet here I am making an exception. Because this one just did not make any sense. Imagine, if you will, the successful launch of a wooden three stage 'rocket' with a surprising amount of living space. It's like some Kobold Space Program nonsense. I don't know where this other me was going but somehow I don't expect they got far. What were your strangest ones?

Émilie Écarlate No, not really. I only remember the launch and not anything before or after.

Katherine Takada I haven't gotten anything really that outlandish yet.

[ Unsettling is a better word to describe hers, though they are still pretty outlandish. ]

Émilie Écarlate She lost. I think? But she was rather cruel.

Katherine Takada That sounds like a very unsettling thing to suddenly have in your memories.

Katherine Takada What land was she trying to take over?

Katherine Takada One of my most recent ones left me very, very confused.

[ Welp, she asked for this essentially. Kath isn't used to talking about these thing either, this probably being the first time she's described a memory to someone. ]

Katherine Takada Its a bit of an odd memory.
Katherine Takada I'm not sure if I'll be able to explain it properly over text.

[ Stop hesitating, Kath. ]

Katherine Takada I remember her walking into this old shrine and finding some sort of spirit.

[ "-a vengeful spirit from hell?" ]

Katherine Takada Apparently it didn't belong there, so she caught it, and then destroyed it.

[ Its a brief description with not many details, but Kath honestly doesn't like to think about these memories too often. ]

Émilie Écarlate Sounds a lot like an exorcism to me.

Katherine Takada I guess it does when you think about it.

[ Sort of. Normally when you think of exorcisms, you think of crosses and holy water and "The Power of Christ Compels you!", not crushing the ghost in a hand you technically shouldn't have and Kasen's dramatic dialogue. ]

Katherine Takada She was very intense about it all.

Katherine Takada She REALLY wasn't happy it was there.

She's not sure how comfortable she is with this being viewable online, so she switches to private. She doesn't want to give Èmillie the wrong idea, but...she needs to say something about this. ]

Katherine Takada When I say she caught it, I mean she literally grasped it in her hand.
Katherine Takada Then she started talking to it, saying things like "The surface is no place for common criminals like you."

And how does one grab a spirit?

Katherine Takada I'm not sure what she was doing to hold a spirit, really.
Katherine Takada All I know is that her grip must have been strong because as soon as she was done talking, she crushed it.

Katherine Takada I guess it is sort of impressive.

[ It still bothers her that what she crushed used to be a human or living thing at some point. ]

[ Émilie isn't sure if it was human herself, she doesn't quite believe in ghosts. ]

Katherine Takada I'm honestly not sure if I want any powers or not.
Katherine Takada I know that sounds odd to say, especially after whats happened thus far.
Katherine Takada But I'm still not comfortable with the idea of them suddenly being added to us like that.

I'm not too sure about that, this was more outlandish than any of our games.

I don't think I've ever had rockets in space

But I definitely had lots of fights with blood and swords

At least that makes sense, even if it must be harrowing...

Tbh, I would prefer they didn't make sense

Because at least then, it would seem less real and less traumatising

I don't think the past me was particularly happy

Besides the... rocket escapade, she once tried to rampage and conquer a mysterious land.

I think she was defeated in the end.

Oh... but if she was defeated, that means she had to be powerful enough to be defeated?

Like someone had to go out of their way to defeat her

So you were powerful anyway!

She was doing Vlad the Impaler things. I'm glad she was beaten.
