This is probably a long shot, but...

If someone on the app suddenly forgets about the app, or just all the weird things going on ... is there a way to make them, er, re-remember again?

Even if it has, it's worth asking again to refresh people's memories, or for those of us who only recently got the app.

Yeah, I guess you're right.
I just don't want to bother people with questions they've heard a lot.

It's possible that they can remember again, but I don't think it's up to us.

I forgot everything about Retrospec last month for nearly two weeks. Then it all just came rushing back. I couldn't believe I'd somehow forgotten, with everything that was going on...

Nobody reminded me of it though; I remembered it on my own.

Yes, he could.

However... I wouldn't count on it. From what I've seen and heard, my experience is the exception, not the rule.

That's a better way to look at it. He'll just think all of this is normal and not stress about it.

It might be a little callous, but it might be helpful for you, too. My cousin's been staying with me and he doesn't know anything about Retrospec. It can be nice sometimes to get away from talking about all of this for a while. Just because he doesn't remember this doesn't mean your relationship with him should suffer for it.

As far as I've been able to figure out, nothing anyone has tried has worked.

I also want to find out, myself. Honestly, despite all the trouble this app has caused, I'd rather not forget.

I don't think that's callous, I can understand that feeling. I've only been on the app a few weeks, but it still all gets to be a little much sometimes. And there's no way I'd let my relationship with my brother suffer.

I think the only way to re-remember everything is with the app.

A couple of my friends and I were aware of all the weird things going on when we had it but when it disappeared off our phones, we suddenly forgot everything. Then when we got it back a few weeks later, we remembered everything again.

That's terrible. I'm so sorry.

Now I feel a little bad worrying about my own problems. When I talked to my brother, it wasn't that bad, we just remembered the last few weeks really differently...

So in other words, unless the app gets back on his phone, he won't remember?

And I suppose it's not as easy as just re-downloading it on his phone.

I called him last night and it was like he forgot everything about it as well as the weird stuff going on.

Yeah...
It's my brother, so I might as well try.
I can probably steal his phone for a bit next time I see him.
