Be honest with me. Am I losing my mind if I find this Retrospec package comforting to look at for some reason? Or can someone grace me with some artistic interpretation as to why these functionally useless silverware washes me with some wave of relief.

"Memories", sure. But what did these cutlery do to deserve this?

We can have unrealistic dreams as kids. Knowing how the science works, it would ruin the magic right?

Most "magic" barely counts as science anyway. It's plain and simple trickery.

But with enough charisma to make people buy it. Still a skill in its own right.

Unless they just bought it from some starter kit or other, but everyone starts from somewhere. Don't like magic?

I grew out of it. It got boring really quickly, I preferred the science kits.
