Be honest with me. Am I losing my mind if I find this Retrospec package comforting to look at for some reason? Or can someone grace me with some artistic interpretation as to why these functionally useless silverware washes me with some wave of relief.

"Memories", sure. But what did these cutlery do to deserve this?

i think a few of those are a bit too far gone to consider bending them back into shape without psychic powers.

if nothing else, they might make a unique decoration. modern art or what have you.

But at least if I call it modern art, people won't ask too many questions. Until it's back to why I like it, then I have to lie it's not mine.

it's not the worst thing you could have gotten. it's simply... bizarre. perhaps enough talking about it might actually help you "remember" why you do like it. if your past self even understood it.
