I noticed he won't go where the fog is too thin. Maybe that applies to all of these, the fog can't always be its ominous, opaque self.

It's a little awkward to deal with, I'll be honest. But think of it like a little Retrospec vacation for him! He deserves one. If he ever becomes a Retrospeccer again, we can bring him up to speed. That would be a little fun, just for his reactions.
