Sure they won, but it kind of dragged after the fifth and I turned it for a new drama and only skipped back for commercial breaks.

I'm rom/com trash, though since it's new I can't really say how good or not it's going to be yet. If it turns into a dud, I might go back to Chief Kim or Legend of the Blue Sea.

They're fun and sometimes a bit annoying but still fun.

Chief Kim is about a small time bookie for a small gang that decides to attempt to rip off a major cooperation. Meanwhile the cooperation is trying to clean out their books in an attempt to hide all the embezzlement going on by the CEO, so they hire him to cook their books. But after an accident in which he saves the life of someone, the bookie ends up fighting the power. It's funny and little romance except the bromance.

Meanwhile Legend of the Blue Sea is about two lovers, one a human and one a mermaid, reborn after their first love caused them to die, and all of the forces trying to keep them apart.

They are! Chief Kim made me just die of laughter because the main character just slowly goes from this small time hood to this crazy man who just will do anything to his frenenemy and it's great. While Legend is so beautiful and then you get a scene in which the mermaid discovers cake and forks and it's like a different funny and then they turn around and you got so many feels.

The mermaid thing is that they are unchanged until they meet that one person, usually a human, who they will love forever, but if their love is not returned, they will slowly die. Because the only thing that allows them to live and stay on land is the power of that love.

Oh I wouldn't recommend a drama that has a tragic ending. I'll keep that heartbreak to myself.
