I know that this month has been making everyone pretty anxious with everything that's going on.
This is really the first time I'm experiencing the brunt of all of this, so it's been a... let's say, learning experience!
I've been trying to think of a way to get my mind off of all of this, so can I ask a favor of you?

alright, so a long time ago, back in china,
this guy named wang is making his way downtown, walking fast, when a face passed by that he never saw before.

it was this young girl, and she was carrying a lot of stuff with her. he asks her what's up and she says that her parents wanted money more than her so they sold her to a rich family. they treated her badly and so she ran away. so this guy wang tells her that she can stay with him. he takes her back to his place and has her live in his family's library. she tells him that he can't tell anybody that she's there.

after a few days, wang tells his wife about her and his wife tells him that he should send her on her way since what if that rich family wants her back? but wang is like nah man, it's fine!

WHERE DID I SAY I SLEEP OUTSIDE?!

And then what happened?

Well... most people seem to have the most trouble with the fog outside.
There's nothing wrong with camping.

[ she takes this as seriously as the other stories. ]

Yes.

The ghosts only come out after dark, but they walk throughout the graveyard. Watching anyone who enters, staring at you with their vacant, dead eyes! But they are not immobile, these ghosts. They have a particular, ritual, one might say, they do each night, in the center of the graveyard.

A ritual they don't like interrupted...

What is it? What's the ritual?!

[ if this conversation was happening in person, mimori's eyes would be sparkling. ]

Well, they all sort of gather in this circle around the center, chanting unintelligible words in unison. But, if one were to be so unlucky as to interrupt them...

That circle would go around them instead, and the ghosts would CONSUME THEIR SOUL!!!!

Right now the creepiest horror story I know is my own life, but if you want something else... My favorite story, one that happened here or something from back where I come from?

Alright, then I'll go with the local one. That one's the easiest to explain and I really like the end! Do you know the street that connects Viea Village to Tribunal Terrace and runs through a corner of Chata? If you go one street to the right it leads up a hill all the way to some fancy doctor's homes and the old courthouse street. There's a reason why nobody wants to buy a house there, but you won't guess what it is!
