[And sure enough, he does eventually peek into Noah's room, a plastic bag in hand. There's a lot of pink packaging in there...]

[Noah can be found in bed of his hospital room. He looks like a hot mess basically: his legs and right arm are covered in bandages from cuts and burns, and the entire left side of his face is covered up in bandages and gauze. Thanks to the hospital gown, his arm is in full view, but it's otherwise uninjured. Looks like he was using that arm to type up all his messages.

He'll lower his phone when he sees Tatsuma entered. Yeah...he sees that pink packaging]

Ha...wonder what flavour you got today.

[He tilts his head, peering into the bag before looking up at Noah again.]

Strawberry's no good?

[He tries not to look too worried about all of those injuries, not at first. He's not blind, but he's also fairly certain others must have brought it up already, too.]

[He makes a soft amused sound]

'Course strawberries good. I'm joking.

[strawberrypunch]

[His expression melts back into a smile. Good. That's good.

There's a crinkling sound that's likely not appreciated in the hospital as he carries it over to Noah, obligingly opening it up and revealing boxes upon boxes of different strawberry-flavored snacks. From gummies to pocky to suckers, they're all in there.]

Is the food really that bad?

*strawberries ARE good. Gosh me.

[His eyes just light up at the look at all those snacks. Delicious! ]

Eh, it's not that bad. Better than school food.

They just don't give enough of it.

Big appetite.

[It's a statement, not a question. He remembers the restaurant adventure. At any rate, he'll go ahead and set the bag in Noah's lap so he can dig in as he pleases.]

I can open them if you need me to.

[The serious downfall to his power: a massive appetite to sustain it.]

Nah, that's okay.

[He'll grab one wit his left arm, and bring it to his mouth to tear it open with his teeth.

[Damn Noah. He watches with an amused smile, grabbing a seat.

And, after a moment, his tone not changing in the slightest:]

[It's how he opened stuff for years before he got two hands okay. once he's managed to rip it open enough, he'll drop it from his mouth and unwrap the rest with his hand]

...I was heading home from work, when I saw someone getting attacked by a fog monster. Went in to help.

As you can tell, it went fucking brilliant.

[He was... extremely lucky to have received those abilities when he did, huh?]

[He looks okay, but you know, just to be sure...]

[...Though with that casual tone and lack of explanation, it's hard to say if it's because of his training at the dojo, or...]

I know him. What happened?

Yeah? You got more powers than ghost seeing or something?

[He's seen him at the dojo but...that'd only do so much against the monsters]

He was being attacked by a fox guy. So I jumped in to try to help out....didn't work out.

He was able to beat it though after I went down. He's stronger than I would've guessed.

A fox...

[His brow creases as he thinks this over.]

He has powers too?

[he nods]

Yeah. Some water magic or something. It's pretty strong.

[He tilts his head down, thinking.]

I've got strength now, but... Not magic.

[Not including the seeing ghosts things, that's not really useful for combat.]

Glad he got you out of there.

I dunno, I'd call your ghost seeing pretty magical. But you saying you got super strength too?

Yeah...I got fucking lucky.
