First item - I need to publicly apologize to a certain BFF for being a jerk and asking dating advice when I should just leave well enough alone. Because I'm pretty sure that people had wondered if there was an apology or not, so this is to assure people that. Second item - it has come to my attention that we are short some staffing around my office. If anyone is interested in working for a software company, we have some slots available. We are cleared to provide points for schooling as well if you need hands on work for a degree in Business or Software. Third item - Do those ratings for fireproof blankets, sheets and other things actually mean anything, or should I invest in ceramic and glass stuff? And anyone know of a way to stop the fire alarms from going off every five minutes? I'm getting a headache from them.

No, just was doing some maintenance of the servers and got a bunch of dust flying from it.

Oh. Take care, then. Fire near servers doesn't sound good either. Dust can be flammable.

It isn't. I have all sorts of measures against a fire starting here, but still, it can be a pain when the system decides there's flames when there's not.

There's a hole for air intake on most fire alarm systems for detecting smoke. A piece of tape solves that problem, as long as you remember to remove it before you leave.

I'm hoping that it will settle down like the fighting skills I suddenly got. I mean, it can't always be showing up for no real reason.

Although heating up coffee when it gets cold from sitting is a bonus, but still.

The fighting skills come naturally? As if it were innate? Reheating cold coffee changes the taste...

I just woke up being able to fight like some kind of crazy special ops commando or something it's weird.

Coffee is coffee. I drink it less for the taste and more for the jolt most of the time.

Weird, but it's also useful. You don't have to worry about cold energy drinks. The caffeine content is comparable.

Nah, I don't like the sugar and salt added to that stuff. Coffee doesn't have any of that in it.

Sugar and salt are important. There are also pills and powders you can add to water.

Office worker here. I have sugar and salt with the snacks that we eat during crunch time so don't need to add to that. And I'm not that big of a fan of that sort of thing outside of the cold preventions around flu season.

Ridiculous, aren't I? But I guess that's what you can call a enforced habit.

I wouldn't say ridiculous. Whatever works for you. I drink a lot too, but it doesn't really do anything for me anymore.

Really? I've heard some people get use to the coffee kick but I never had that problem.

Yeah. Tolerance. It's good you haven't; take advantage of caffeine's effects while you still feel it.
