[1] local farmer here for her income
Hello everyone! I'm Haru Okumura, an employee at Enchanted Blossoms.
What you might not know about me, however, is that I've been a seller at the Golden Gate Farmer's Market for several years now! I sell a variety of things; food and flowers from my garden, homemade crafts, and baked goods, all made and picked fresh!
November is a special time of month, isn't it? It's the month when autumn is truly upon us. The colors of the leaves are gorgeous fiery colors, the air is crisp and chilly, and best of all? The sky is blue again! What a beautiful backdrop for one of the best months of the year!
That's why all of my items have a fall theme this month!
First, as I'm sure we have some food lovers out there, I present to you: the pies!

I have here a freshly baked maple pecan pie, a pumpkin pie, and a cinnamon pie! I've baked a few each, and they're all wrapped up and ready to find a home - or maybe a hungry individual out there? There will be samples of each, just in case you find that you like one more than the other, but try not to eat all of them, alright? I'll need every single bit of it!
[She knows some of you out there.......]
Each pie is worth $15. Come get them while they last!
I'll have different flavors of pies as we get closer to Thanksgiving, though I'm stumped on what to make. I can't decide if I should stick with what I have now, or switch them out in favor of apple crumble, cranberry, or sweet potato pie. What should I bake next?
As for other foods, I have the harvest from my garden! Stop by if you'd like fresh cranberries, raspberries, parsnips, kale, and the last batch of lettuce!
Next, one of my favorite parts: the crafts! I prepare these in advance, and all paper items are coated with a material to help them last longer, even if they accidentally get wet! Still, I'd recommend bringing them inside if you know it's going to be a rainy day.

Fall Leaves - $4
Their stems are made out of pipe cleaners, so you can curl them around whatever you'd like! A mirror, a branch, or along your blinds - just try to keep them away from cats, they enjoy chewing on them!

Autumn Mason Jars - $12
Candles not included, but you can fill the jars with whatever you'd like! As you can see from the picture, though, candles give off a fantastic glow when lit behind the leaves.

Leaf Wreath - $25
Each leaf has a special coating of clear, sparkling paint so that they give off a shine, especially in the sunlight. It's like having the magic of falling leaves right on your door! There's only a few of these, so first come, first serve!
[Haru's experienced enough to know how to get these out in time, but some of these things take a lot of time and effort here.]
And, though these have nothing to do with fall, I've brought them back due to popular demand:

Cat Bookmarks - $3
A reader ought to have a little kitty companion to keep their place once they've stopped! I'll also throw in a special offer: For $5, I'll make your own kitty into a bookmark! Though you'll have to wait another week for it, and I'll need a picture of your cat to do so, but who wouldn't want the likeness of their furry friend helping them pick up where they left off?
I hope you stop by, even if you don't intend to buy anything! I love company more than customers, after all! But no matter what you decide:

It's my first time celebrating Thanksgiving so I figure I should go all out.

Aside from Halloween, it's one of my favorite holidays! ٩̋(ˊ•͈ ꇴ •͈ˋ)و I love baking and cooking, so I get to do so as much as I want for this!
no subject
Aah and that does sound fun! I wish I was better at cooking so I could participate.

[She has some interest in Japan, not only because her best friend is from there, but also because her other-life-memories have been from there as well.]
Even if you don't cook, the best part about Thanksgiving is easily the eating, especially with friends and family! Maman and I always cook too much between the two of us. (⌒▽⌒ゞ;

[And it's about here that Sakura realizes she has... no family to celebrate this holiday with, ah... but she doesn't want to dampen the mood, either]
Well, that's what leftovers are for, yes? What kind of foods do you make?
no subject
[Look...... let her feed you]
Oh, many dishes! Casserole, mashed potatoes,
rolls, gratin...
But of course, there's the all star of the menu: the turkey! We make all kinds of stuffing, gravy, and relishes just for that!

And all of that sounds delicious! Now that I think about it, I've never had a big turkey before...
