Hello! First of all, Maurice would like me to tell you all that he's locking anyone who messes about with putting dangerous things in the mailbox to send to him which don't belong for at least a week (please don't send him dangerous things!!!!) and would like me to remind you it's for things you got sent only, please!

Secondly, we've managed to fix one of the colors entirely, although one is still on the fritz. We'll keep working on it!

By the way, is anyone going to do secret Santa games? I always like those, although I've only ever done them with other employees. Last year I got Ronnie. He's soooo hard to shop for but I think he liked the cane I got him? And Mr. Baroque got me! I'm not really sure he knows how to shop for girls. Or people who don't only want weapons. But the thought is what counts!

As of this post:
•Clothing and personal items have now regained the color green! This includes all items your character had in their AU plus any regains your character has obtained. However, this does not include physical features.
•Additionally, all flora and fauna have regained the color green.
•Blue eyes and hair have been restored, meaning blue is entirely back!
•Horses begin appearing in history texts, books, and academia, often phrased as being newly discovered from the past.

Please feel free to use this post as a network mingle. Every toplevel can be considered a new post, and threadjacking is permitted. No NPC response will be given. Usernames are the character's full real AU names, not aliases or chosen nicknames or usernames, and seemed to have filled themselves in; nothing characters do can change or obscure their names currently.

they always have
it wasn't until july when retrospec sucked the color out of them
they can be seen in pictures and magazines but seeing them again in 3D is pure bliss

I'm not sure I saw you around the network much since the color returned to pictures, but I might have just not realized it. Which is totally possible, since there are so many posts.

They suit you.

thank you

[ he sincerely means that. ]

i didn't think it'd look good at first tbh
because of the silver hair making me look like an old man at times
i can't believe this is what i looked like in my past
it's weird

I don't think your silver hair is bad.

It's different from when it was black, but it's still shiny and youthful, you know? It looks like you dyed it, not that you went grey.
adoringpast: (confused)

[personal profile] adoringpast 2017-11-12 04:04 am (UTC)(link)
shiny and youthful, huh

[ like moonlight or a precious metal... these guys really know how to make a boring color like grey sound appealing, huh ]

nah i'd rather have it look natural than dyed
not really a big fan of it since im a model and all
everyone was shocked the first few weeks when i woke up like this one day but later on they just got used to it
it's how the app works

Do you know if you're able to dye it back? I wouldn't put it past these weird occurrences to not let you change it.
adoringpast: (silent oath)

[personal profile] adoringpast 2017-11-12 04:47 am (UTC)(link)
i have a friend whose hair turned silver at one point too and that's what i suggested at first
but even if i do dye my hair, the roots will show later on
and dyeing it over and over does more harm to hair than good
so im leaving it as is

besides i
i think im getting used to seeing this hair+eye color
not a lot of people have this combo, yknow?

[ the only other one he can think of is anya, but... ]

Personally, I like it as it is. I was only suggesting options since you said you don't care for it.

It definitely sets you apart. In a good way, I think.

it's fine
it's a better suggestion than shaving it all off tbh
some idiot suggested that to me a couple of months ago

but thank you, sugihara
you don't have to shower so much praise, though
of course i'd look good either way
sunnyspot: (☀️ 12)

[personal profile] sunnyspot 2017-11-14 12:53 am (UTC)(link)
No, definitely don't shave it off. It's something unique about you.

...Am I praising you too much? Sorry, I don't mean anything weird by it. But I do admire how confident you are despite experiencing changes you can't control.

[That's another compliment, though....]
adoringpast: (ready for those flashing lights)

[personal profile] adoringpast 2017-11-14 12:38 pm (UTC)(link)
you're complimenting me again
which isn't a bad thing usually but it gets tiring real fast
are you trying to suck up to me or something?>

I'm not! There's nothing wrong with being nice.

And I don't want you to feel bad about your appearance.
adoringpast: (confused)

i can never feel bad about how i look
it's in my job description after all

but uh
i appreciate it i guess

I guess, but...
Sorry. I didn't mean to make things awkward.

You can forget about it if you want.
On second thought, you should probably do that.
