I've never got one of those that was way too personalized. Mostly it's something like 'a fuzzy blanket' or 'seat cushion'.

Those almost seem like throwaway answers. But I'd probably get someone the fuzzy blanket and then the difference in the cost we're allowed to spend in a gift card.

When someone says 'fuzzy blanket' I usually go for those ones that are close to two hundred dollars just because I think a ten dollar one is just playing it cheap.
