Hah! Someone actually brought one of those to a white elephant I did back in university. It changed hands at least six times before someone finally put a stop to it.

The Mounted Singing Fish might be the one true traditional White Elephant gift. I await the fateful day everyone shows up to an exchange with one. They must still make those things. Bet they expanded their song library.

I'd say at least three quarters of the app users are either high schoolers or college students. So... it depends. They will either be equally strapped for cash and take pity on you, or fleece you.
