Well, yeah, getting presents organized earlier helps beat the rush at least. I usually do it sooner since some of mine I send back to Japan, so. Shipping times and all.
Just to be safe.

I don't know there's as much preparation for Thanksgiving as it is just sorting the food though.

Getting together and being thankful for whatever you're thankful for? And food in there, somewhere. I've moved around a lot so I'm not as sure since that has meant missing out on some stuff.

So really is sounds like an excuse to just eat excessive amounts of food for the sake of eating food.

Pretty much. I'm not from here so I'm not as familiar with the history behind it like some others but.
Yeah. That's kinda most holidays, really.

I'm not from America either. I'm still getting used to a lot of this as well. So I understand what you mean.

I've moved around a lot so I'm used to needing to learn and adjust to stuff by now, but yeah. The United States is pretty different from Japan, that's for sure. Where were you from?

Spain. I spent most of my life there and honestly haven't been here that long. I have enjoyed my time here though.

Spain huh? Yeah, there's a lot of us from all over, it seems. Or, initially, before ending up here somehow or other. I only more recently ended up here myself, with my foster dad's work.

I moved here not so long ago myself. I've actually decided to start a life here since moving here since I'm quite fond of the city.

Yeah? My foster dad seems the same way. At least, he doesn't seem to have any plans on moving too soon,
this time. I guess this place might not be so bad. Craziness with this stuff aside, I mean.

The craziness certainly adds some spice to our lives. Particularly now that we're aware of the chaos and don't simply dismiss it as being normal.

I'm still questioning how the hell I somehow didn't notice or hear about monsters or any of this before.

I'm questioning that as well as how I didn't notice that it was strange my eyes were no longer blue. Or that ghosts weren't supposed to be haunting things. Or so many other strange things.

I mean. I know some stuff tends to go over my head or whatever but. This seems like a whole other level,
yeah. Basically. Colours and ghosts and monsters and whatever else.

I'm already concerned about what else we'll discover at this point.

I think everyone is. Concerned and pissed off. At least from what I gather. Which isn't surprising. Not like we asked for this.

Unfortunately they don't appear to care that we didn't ask for this.

Course not. That would be too convenient on our end in dealing with this.
