Hello! First of all, Maurice would like me to tell you all that he's locking anyone who messes about with putting dangerous things in the mailbox to send to him which don't belong for at least a week (please don't send him dangerous things!!!!) and would like me to remind you it's for things you got sent only, please!

Secondly, we've managed to fix one of the colors entirely, although one is still on the fritz. We'll keep working on it!

By the way, is anyone going to do secret Santa games? I always like those, although I've only ever done them with other employees. Last year I got Ronnie. He's soooo hard to shop for but I think he liked the cane I got him? And Mr. Baroque got me! I'm not really sure he knows how to shop for girls. Or people who don't only want weapons. But the thought is what counts!

As of this post:
•Clothing and personal items have now regained the color green! This includes all items your character had in their AU plus any regains your character has obtained. However, this does not include physical features.
•Additionally, all flora and fauna have regained the color green.
•Blue eyes and hair have been restored, meaning blue is entirely back!
•Horses begin appearing in history texts, books, and academia, often phrased as being newly discovered from the past.

Please feel free to use this post as a network mingle. Every toplevel can be considered a new post, and threadjacking is permitted. No NPC response will be given. Usernames are the character's full real AU names, not aliases or chosen nicknames or usernames, and seemed to have filled themselves in; nothing characters do can change or obscure their names currently.

me either i knew blue was important, but to have it back shows how much it's in everything
i'm glad it's back though

I try to spread out my gifts but I end up forgetting half way through the year
Then next thing I know it's Christmas again and I have to shop
Christmas isn't here yet though there are plans for next Christmas
I'm trying to make sure I get everything for this year
The commercials start to get annoying though

Now we just need green back.
And for the fruits to be completely not weird?

Going shopping for literally anything that isn't a Christmas present makes Christmas annoying.
And it's unfortunate because it's a good holiday outside of the commercialism.
But here we are, feeding into it anyways.
I say we should wait for the food comas, but I'm already trying to find presents.
cheetahsenpai: (texting away)

yes *sobs* i thought i did more but i didn't

i'm looking forward to green again
i can't believe i'm saying that but it's true

It is, I can barely shop for anything now without trying to avoid some sale or rude shoppers
I don't know why people have to push and shove the things are going to be right there
I do actually like Christmas
I'm able to stay home and spend time with my family that's always nice
I'm already looking for presents too
But with the shops all turned around at the Tower it makes shopping a little annoying

I will boomerang the shit out of you fam

It's just been so weird.
You'd think they'd at least replace it with some other, weird color.
That seems right up their alley.

We used to spend Christmas in France with my mother's parents, and it was a lot less
This? Too much?
Whatever Christmas in the States is, to be honest. Everyone has their heads up their asses.
It's exhausting. And Recollé's shopping is even more exhausting than what it's been literally anywhere else in the country, for some reason.
cheetahsenpai: (hey there)

bless you <3

right? you would think that would happen but it didn't
i thought that would happen
i did expect to see something weird

that sounds nice actually
how was it like to celebrate in France?
if it sounds like it was calmer i am for it

celebrating Christmas here in Recolle is always a lot
my mom loves to decorate and my grandpa like the food
but everything else has been so much lately

i tried going to the Tower for a pair of gloves when the stores were full of people
some of them were shoving it was hard not to shove back

what do you do for Christmas here?

After being shrunken, and the monsters, you would think that that would be their plan.
Weird colored things.
But instead they just. Took them.

My grandparents live in Brittany, after moving there from Paris, so it's a cooler climate.
But there are a lot of festivals, and a *lot* of food. Literally everything for Noel has to do with food, come to think of it.
But it's still less chaotic than all of this.

Since both of my parents travel a lot for work, and I'm here by myself for the most part, I haven't got much planned for Christmas this year.
I'm not sure when my parents' trips are going to be over with, so I've been holding off on doing too much planning.
Shopping is completely out of the question, though. Because my patience would be too thin.

There'd be a lot of shoving.
cheetahsenpai: (Hey!)

hooray! happy to help ^_^

I think them taking it away is pretty weird
I still get excited to see a blue sky and no monsters
No monsters is always good

Really? I think I would like to spend Christmas that way
I've always been interested in how other places celebrate Christmas and the foods they serve too
I'm more interested now that I want to really pursue cooking

Really? They do?
Hey if you want you can join us for Christmas?
Or some time before your family comes back?
We have enough room and we're going to be making a lot of things so you can come over if you want
Consider it an open invitation!
