It doesn't have to make sense or be useful - it just has to be a suggestion, at which point the application will return to normal.

... Maybe they should really beware with this. We don't want to overload anything; especially if people didn't turn in those faulty models.

Well, if it's overloading the phone processor and the whole thing heats up, it may do something bad to the hardware.

Exploding batteries aside, I think it's worth it to make sure nothing too bad happens to your actual phone.

You never know with potential viruses and/or malware.
