Please feel free to use this post as a network mingle. Every toplevel can be considered a new post, and threadjacking is permitted. No NPC response will be given. Usernames are the character's full real AU names, not aliases or chosen nicknames or usernames, and seemed to have filled themselves in; nothing characters do can change or obscure their names currently. Characters who have been in game for one month will find they can now change their profile pictures; newcomers are locked into their first choice.

Upon opening this entry at all, characters will find themselves spammed with notifications and strange glitched texts until they make some sort of suggestion for a new application feature on the Retrospec app. This can range from a personalized friends list to a watermelon image gallery to a watergun charging station. It doesn't have to make sense or be useful - it just has to be a suggestion, at which point the application will return to normal.

Remember not opting out of this, maybe. I guess we're here for the long ride now.

Yes, the "opt out" button has long been missing. One of the great mysteries of this app.

At the very least, it piques one's curiosity, if you can ignore the annoyances associated with it. The endless notifications can at least be turned off.

Someone should make a tutorial for the newer people. I'm finding it a little hard to navigate this thing — it'd be really helpful. You don't suppose it's intentionally obtuse, do you?

I can agree with that, but my curiosity's gotten me in trouble before. And I'm scared I'm already too curious for my own good here.

I find it's becoming harder and harder to know what exactly IS intentional when Retrospec is concerned. But I've had this app installed on my phone for a month now. If you have any questions, do feel free to ask.

What good is curiosity if it doesn't get someone in trouble? Such is the risk of a questioning mind, the only kind worth having.

I'll make sure to keep that in mind. I appreciate the offer.

"Learn more than thou trowest and thou shalt have more than two-tens to a score."
I think that applies nicely to the situation we're all in. I know I could do better to have a skeptical mind..
There's something to be said that a fool is the one to give this advice, maybe.

A fan of Shakespeare, are we? The Bard's wisdom does transcend time itself, I agree. Even where frustrating apps for mobile devices are concerned.

I wonder what he would have to say about possessing memories that are not your own.
