For one thing, no secret handshakes or phrases? Not even dramatic meeting locations? The trying rating is about half a star if that. And I'm almost bored to tears with the whole back and forth about what's going on. Not bored enough to give you a cheat sheet, but still. No NPC response will be given. Usernames are the character's full real AU names, not aliases or chosen nicknames or usernames, and seemed to have filled themselves in; nothing characters do can change or obscure their names currently. Characters who have been in game for more than one month will find they can change their profile pictures; newcomers are locked into their first choice. At various points throughout the day users will be sent images of themselves from behind, regardless of where they are. There doesn't seem to be any way to catch whoever might be taking and sending these, however, especially since being alone in a room doesn't seem to be a deterrent. It won't ever make sense if you treat this as a normal computer program. It does not obey the rules such things are supposed to obey. Something very otherworldly is at work here, and none of us know what exactly.

that much has become clear, given the fact that i spontaneously remembered horses today and it isn't an isolated thing.

everything felt so normal before this. what was wrong with all of us that we didn't notice?

We are not sure if it is us who are affected, everyone else, or all of us in different ways. The possibilities are as endless as they are confusing and contradictory.

And unfortunately, no I can't answer. But we're trying to find those answers, one way or another.

If you use fruit as a comfort food, I suggest bananas. It will help with avoiding falling into that void. mostly because they will not smile at you as you eat them.

I have attempted to eat them. They do, at the least, eat the same. So orange juice shouldn't be a problem. Just do not think about its source.

nothing else has changed that i'm forgetting, has it? other than horses and fruit. although there was that pet-insect thing that seems to be gone now.

Yes, I could understand. I really don't drink much orange juice even now. Bananas are my preferred fruit of choice as a rule. And vitamin C tablets to make sure I'm not missing out.

And yes, thankfully that is gone. I've heard something about strange toys changing and games, but nothing especially world-shattering. It's usually more of a personal experience, so far.

You've heard about them then, yes? "Hallucimemories" some call them, and I am starting to cave in and use the word. They're one of a few things that have happened to us personally lately. Changes to our bodies, powers, skills, strange gifts we find or are shipped to us by Retrospec.

It's all a very personal invasion of our lives.

so there are physical changes as well as hallucination-memories. i can't wait to find out what sort of bullshit is next.

i assume no one has found any sort of pattern to it.

Sarcasm, good. You will get along well with a few of the people here. It's become a bit of a defense mechanism. And don't worry too much. There always seems to be something new each month.

There doesn't seem to be a clear pattern, no. Some people seem to share their hallucinations, others like me do not. People see them at different paces. And what happens to the world seems to make no sense, other than that much of it seems to come from peoples' hallucinations.

if the changes in the world are from the hallucinations, there's no getting around the fact that they're all connected, then. [At least it's not... wholly random? Maybe?]

The same, and that they see each other in their hallucinations, as if there was a shared experience. It has not happened to me. the girls I see in my visions, they never appear here.

And there is no escaping that, no matter what. Personally, I hope none of mine appear. There were a lot of men in suits with guns in one of them.

i guess i can't say how i'd feel about it yet, given that i haven't seen any.

One of the girls has pointed a gun at me twice now in those hallucinations, and the relationship to the other is less than normal in those things I've seen. I think it might be better if I never see either of them. I don't know what would happen.

[She grunted to herself. The devil take both Mireille and Kirika. They were making a mockery of her life right now.] It isn't something we can really be sure how we feel, not until it happens anyway.

I am not even sure I would call her an enemy. The other 'me' thought of her differently than that. Almost fondly. It was strange. And uncomfortable.

Exactly. You never know, not until you see it for yourself. Perhaps you will be the hero of the story, boldly strutting around with a cape and magical powers to fight the villains of the world. Much easier to be happy about that version, yes?

Not in general. I am a florist, not some secret agent, after all. And yes, it would be. I will hope that you either suffer very few of these visions, or that they're at least better than most.
