So does someone want to tell the hapless fool trying to steal my job that

1. law is difficult and there's a reason we have to get certified to practice it, and also
2. he probably doesn't actually want my job?

He can take the rest of my life, for all I care - the only possible exception to this is that I draw the line at all the befriending of my cat he's currently doing - but I'd really prefer to not have to deal with this at the office day in and day out.

So if anyone has any advice for dealing with the tactless pests, I'm all for hearing it - and don't start with telling me that I shouldn't speak ill of the apparently deceased. If they don't want me to speak ill of them, they'll learn their place.

I've been thinking about weapons practice for a while now, especially after the epsilon group got added. (For you guys in epsilon group, if you're still feeling lost about things, read this. Or just ask someone in alpha or beta. We've been there.)

Anyway. For those who weren't on the app yet, weapons practice was started by Dante (who is no longer on the app himself) as a way for people to learn how to fight. With weapons, obviously. A lot of people were getting weapons sent to them by Retrospec and had no idea how to use them. And when I say weapons, I mean non-firearms. Swords. Spears. Magic staffs. Battle axes.

If you want to learn hand-to-hand in this city, there are several places you can do that. If you want to learn how to use a firearm, there are places for that too. But a sword? A spear? Daggers? Ax? That's a little trickier.

So Dante started the weapons practice group, in order for us to pool our resources. People remembering how to fight with a weapon could help teach other people. People being sent weapons could learn how to use them. Or if you just want to learn how to use a weapon, you can come too!

I'd like to start this again. Especially with Retrospec's recent announcement about manual debugging. Same time and place as it used to be. Utsuki Dojo in Tisse, Sunday nights from 6pm to midnight. First meeting will be this Sunday.

You don't have to stay the whole time or even come right at the beginning, though we'll make general introductions at 6. Practice weapons will be provided, though you are welcome to bring your own.

As this is to help people learn physical techniques and increase skill level, magic techniques are not allowed. Magic weapons are only allowed if you can use them sans magic. The dojo is not equipped for that kind of stuff. Please do not burn my master's dojo down. Additionally, no firearms, lasers, fighting robots. Again, the dojo is not equipped for that kind of stuff. Please do not destroy my master's dojo.

Also, I'm looking for healers. I would like to have multiple healers involved, if only so we don't have one healer having to cover the whole six hours. If you are interested shoot me a message.

[OOC: IDK if we'll even manage to hold one this month :'D b/c Tatsuo is part of the initial infection group. Depending on how quickly that group manifests symptoms, we might be able to IC-ly have the first meeting on the 7th. Otherwise, the first meeting might have to wait until next month.]

I recently got this in the maibox. It's my other self's school uniform. For those who don't know, he went to a wizarding school in the UK. The green represents the house his was in (it's like a dorm for you non-Brits). His house was called Slytherin, which usually has students in it who were ambitious and cunning.

It doesn't really fit though. I can put the robe on and that's about it. But considering this was probably his uniform when he was around 16 or so, it makes sense.

Thoughts? Opinions?

There's a paintball game going on this coming weekend and I wanted to get the word out.

We've got a couple folks who want to play and folks who want to help out with set up, but I wanted to catch any last minute sign ups and see if I could get any more help with food and stuff after the game. (OOC: The log goes up bright and early tomorrow, so this is officially the last call)

So Derek and I have both mentioned to various people finding some information back in April. Zee contacted us and asked us to organize a storage room hidden in the Recolle Library. If you are new to the app and the whole Retrospec deal, I'd suggest you go read the User Guide first. Anyway. We spent about three evenings cleaning that place up. It was a literal mess. ░lright so three things, all of them ░ little bit related ░nd bare with me bec░use they might not seem that import░nt in light of the world going blank! But it's ░lso going to be more relevant th░n ever if we get more people this next month on the app ░nd this isn't fixed up.

1) I completed a not░ble update to the Guide recently. One of the biggest ch░nges was fixing up th░t history section based on my memory ░nd picking the brains of ░ few other people. I ░dded more about l░yers, particul░rly given those seem more relevant now? But if ░nyone is seeing something obviously missing there or I got something wrong, ple░se point it out. No use getting everyone mixed up bec░use I was.

2) However ░s I was upd░ting the guide I re░lized I didn't ░ctually know ░ll of what went down in Febru░ry and how it went down. I know the rough gist of wh░t you guys who were in the city did, and of course I h░ve my own experiences in Mag░tus to dr░w on, but does ░nyone who w░s in Pesgare, Bosum░, or Respatrum w░nt to tell me wh░t you saw ░nd did or link me to some write up? actu░lly prob░bly same for people in the city. Th░t confusion on my p░rt's why that's bl░nk.

3) I'm no expert on this stuff ░nd so if anyone's got some section they think ought to be rewritten or ░dded to, feel free to shoot the re-write or the new section my w░y and I'll ░dd it. It's alre░dy prob░bly l░cking for some insights on piecing together things from the l░st few months.

Hey Everyone,
Now that my apartment is painted back into existance again, I am in need of some help.
I am in search of a new roommate. Rent would be $650 a month plus splitting on utilities.
The apartment is in Tisse and it's on the third floor.
Two bedroom, two bath, each with a walk in closet.
Washer and dryer in apartment.
The kitchen is large with plenty of counter and storage space.
There is also a balcony with additional storage space.
New roommate needs to be able to live with a cat and a Eagle Owl!
I have attached a picture of the apartment.
Preferably looking for someone to move in at the beginning of June.

hey! a while back at the beginning of the month i talked about getting people together to start forming a training coalition/volunteer crisis response team or whatever (this thing) and then this whole month went completely stupid as usual.
so anyway i still want to do that! i know everybody who replied thought it was a good idea and i am hoping to do the first meeting maybe in the first or second week of may and we just hope that the city is a lot less annoying next month.

maybe may 6th or something?

until then if you did not talk to me about this already and you're interested in training and organizing and being part of a crisis response team let me know.
