Is anyone else having trouble getting a hold of people outside the city? I've been trying to reach my relatives and friends back home, but it's getting harder and harder to get anything through and I can't figure out why.

At this rate I might be stuck in town for Thanksgiving. I hope everything's alright.

Oh. And does anyone want macarons? I was learning how to make them and I made way too many.

Since September?
So not as long as others, but a few months now.

I've been aware since July, so I can see it doesn't make any more sense the longer you have it.

Ehe, oh that's not comforting.
But I can believe it too.

I spent an unfortunate amount of time in August exploring an underground train network and doing puzzles involving candy to fight what I was told were 'unreality issues'.

It still makes very little sense to me, but it happened.

I'm sure you'll experience something of it eventually, at which point that may make more sense to you. Though I always try to hold out hope these things will all settle into normalcy.

Can't say I'm looking forward to that.
And I can't blame you for holding out hope...even if it seems pretty unlikely at this point.

I find it more reassuring to hope than to constantly assume the worst.
