Looks like horses do exist, but only inside a game setting. Image featuring one of the character classes in CUBEnix's MMO series and a horse. Back to the beta-testing hell. Will announce when this beast is finally released for the general public.

The PvP sounds interesting. I've always been a fan of FPS games with a deathmatch option.

That's the Arena levels mainly, but PvP can happen anywhere when the players load that option from the start.
