That's exactly it.
The stares and comments are uncomfortable enough, not to mention the feeling of your body suddenly being different.
And, to be honest, accidentally shutting a door on your tail because you're not used to having it hurts.
I wouldn't wish it on anyone.
But at the same time... Some company would be nice.
