[ Welcome to CUBEnix's office where the sleek design of modern tech merges with the back drop of ye old Art Deco interior. There's huge computer screens hanging from brackets from the ceiling, the beeps of an arcade game in the background and a bunch of scrolling code on the computer screen behind Yoon-sung. The man himself is dressed in his usual style of business casual by way of a designer brand though he had upgraded his usual scoop neck shirt for something less revealing to spare anyone of seeing his scarring. He also has acquired a spent bullet that someone strung on a piece of rawhide to turn into a necklace. ]
First off, I should welcome all our lovely new users to the Retrospec world where things don't make sense, and we are all going insane. The app is just our way to know who is part of the end users of this framework and who isn't. What I mean by that is those that can see and use the app are those who also notice all the changes happening in the world around us. Congratulations. We're all lost souls connected by a ghost program. If you have any questions about my experiences with it, just ask.
[ Because he is probably one of the few people who has managed to peek at the coding even if he didn't see anything of note. ] Second, what does love mean to you?

Right now, I'm trying to figure that out myself.. But, generally, a certain loyalty.. I suppose?
[ Or a whole lot, at least on his end. ]

[ Usually Yoon-sung tries to be careful with his accent, making sure to not slur the sounds, but he was a little tired and a lot bothered, resulting in his S.Korean accent marring his english. ]
Basically you feel that loyalty between friends is also a form of love?

Which means that you might be more familiar with magic, while I'm looking at this in the form of scifi. And since they never really have come out to say exactly what they used, we can always just keep guessing as to what is happening, right?

you totally look and sound like the plucky protag of a long running series about beating people up with a techno knife

[ And here, have him laugh and when he starts talking again, there's going to be a hint of his accent before his Ivy School accent comes back. ]
Why would you say that? I'm just an CEO in charge of this branch of Father's company.

Love is... a cat. Precious and can show affection, but sometimes unpredictable and can hurt.

That makes some sense I guess.

[ pretty matter-of-fact? or maybe Leaks is just tone deaf. either/or. ]
I am glad. But why do you ask about love? Are you a modern age philosopher?

There's nothing else like it.
So of course sharing the last of something is like a declaration! Throwing it so frivolously at others will cause a misunderstanding, so stick to just having smaller snacks in its place.
That said, my boyfriend gave an apt description of love once... To me, love is knowing that I won't be alone during those times and that neither will he.

Between you, me and the wall, I got a hallucinomemory of telling my father to leave my loved ones alone or I will hurt the only thing he cares about. Namely. Me.
And proved it by stabbing myself in the hand.

is more than I was expecting
so you're questioning whether or not he actually loves you?

I feel that love is a complicated thing. Particularly with how many ways it can be expressed. It can inspire beautiful things like music and poetry but it can also inspire harm against others.
So I suppose love to me is finding yourself willing to do more than you ever expected you would before.
