The man himself is dressed in his usual style of business casual by way of a designer brand though he had upgraded his usual scoop neck shirt for something less revealing to spare anyone of seeing his scarring. He also has acquired a spent bullet that someone strung on a piece of rawhide to turn into a necklace. ]

First off, I should welcome all our lovely new users to the Retrospec world where things don't make sense, and we are all going insane. The app is just our way to know who is part of the end users of this framework and who isn't. What I mean by that is those that can see and use the app are those who also notice all the changes happening in the world around us. Congratulations. I'm questioning how far my other was willing to go in the name of love. He loves his father a lot but yet he was willing to kill himself to stop his father from doing something.

I'd say that killing himself would be going pretty far

but also, it sounds like a kind of psychological warfare? He sounds like he was smart enough to know that his plan would work and his father would back off

or at least that's what I'm presuming what happened

if he killed himself, there's no guarantee that his father would stop, after all

I'm not sure, but he does startle the old man, I know that. He didn't seem to expect him stabbing himself to prove that he would go through with anything.

I don't know though. It might be a start of an escalation too. I haven't gotten enough parts to figure it out.

what specifically about this is bothering you, though? Are you worried you might become more like your other self? Or that you and your father in this life will go down a similar path?

I think it might be a little of both. Father isn't an easy man to like. He can be harsh and strict but I've never really felt like he could go as far as the one I'm seeing from my other.
