Has anyone ever tried to talk to family and friends without Retrospect about all the strange things that are happening?

If you have, how did that go?

Honest, but it still sounds........
Um.

[Guess who's terrible at being tactful? She'll just move on.]

How did they react to all of that though?

Oh!
Are you a writer?

And isn't it better for them to believe you're bouncing ideas off them for a novel?
Cause you'll have somewhere to indirectly let out some steam without getting them actively involved.
Unless you want them to?

But does it make you happy this way?
For some reason, you sound like you're searching for something specific.
Or something like that.
Sorry! I'm no good in using this type of thing. I may just be assuming here and stuff.

There's no harm in doing that, you know. Complaining. Everyone is entitled to grump over the bad hand they were given. The issue is if you complain about everything.

But, in this case, you're allowed to feel the way you do. After all, you didn't choose this situation, right? So, all you can do is look after your family as much as yourself. Think of it as being their personal bodyguard from the twilight zone!

Uh-huh. Sure, buddy. Let's just ignore the post that got us talking in the first place.

[She can tell! Why are you being so stubborn, bro? She ain't shaming you for complaining.]

Would you like to learn if given the chance?

Just maybe? You should be more confident in your answers when it resorts to pretty important decisions!

[Yes, she is kinda scolding him here. She's never been good with not so direct type of people.]

Well, by your responses, I at least have an idea of the type of self defense would be good for you. I'd recommend aikido. It's a martial art based solely on defense if you're only interested in learning to avoid getting hit, thrown, and evading a foe. Would you be interested in something like that?
