is anyone else experiencing an increase in DROPPED CALLS or TRASHY CALL QUALITY since the launch of Retrospec? long-distance in particular. or is there some other, better explanation for this change that I'm unaware of? after plenty of baseless excuses that turned out to be false, my carrier claims that there's noooothing wrong on their end. but what good are they? they also can't find an app on my phone that we know exists.

it's shocking that nobody else has said anything... unless it really is just me and every single phone I touch.

Now that you've mentioned it, I also have the same problems when I tried to call one of my college friends from France.

But now that you've mentioned about our carriers are unaware of Retrospec, I'm beginning to feel that there might be a connection to all of this.

France? give me more details. did you use only your own phone? have you tried borrowing one?

I did use my own phone when I called my friend just to meet him once more, but after a few seconds, the call suddenly drops.

I didn't borrow anyone's phone, but I did remember using my father's phone when I visited my childhood home after work. However, it did happen right after the Retrospec launch, so my call with my brother is not the best quality as I hope.

you used your father's phone and similar problems followed you. the poor connection doesn't seem to have to do with the device or the carrier, if multiple people are experiencing it.

as untrustworthy as it is, I'm not saying it has anything to do with Retrospec, by the way.. don't misunderstand. I'm only saying that its launch coincides with the start of this trend.

I could say the same as well. In fact, I noticed that this app somehow launched before Founder's Day.

if, JUST IF, Retrospec is really to blame for the dropped calls... then landlines/payphones should work. just a thought!

However, I think these dropped calls aren't the only reason I made this connection. Do you remember what happened in Founder's Day?

lots of things happened that day. which? the appearance of the Retrospec HQ? the sudden end to horses as we knew them?

All of the events you've mentioned. It happened a few days after the Retrospec app was released to most of the users.

I think this might be too much of a coincidence.

some people seem more willing to dismiss it as coincidence. coincidences are conveniences. they mean you can continue on with your lives without sparing a second thought. it could be coincidence? whoooo knows?

Still, I think this might need some investigating. Maybe I'll try to dig into this events when I have some time.

let me know if you find anything, specifically. no matter what else goes wrong, I'd like to be able to call long-distance.
